I'm fairly new to the forum guys. I appreciate this forum so much btw!

I’ve read countless posts about the Tacoma actuators... literally hours lol

    Here’s my issue
Blinking 4wd lights and nothing moves
Btw my TC actuator plastic housing Has been busted for years. It has never failed me until now. I recently fell in a hole on a back road that was sandy loam and got stuck. I’m know water got in there.

As per reading lots of posts, do I remove the old actuator and install a new actuator? I can get a used TC and actuator for about $300 off a wrecked truck here in Louisiana. It seems kinda straightforward to remove the whole actuator with the little gear coming out to pull it off the shaft.
Any help is greatly appreciated! May God bless you all

Btw, ive checked my front add and it was very clean and spotless.

Awesome CB setup, TRD leaf springs, matching camper shell...more to come some day.
You can buy a new actuator for that cost of Rock Auto.

    Amen to the FJ swap!
What would be the total cost on swap?
    Used tc about $200?
I don’t know if im mechanically inclined enough to do it by myself

depends i got mine for $275, price is usually anywhere from 3-400. Another $300 or so for FROR twin sticks, gear oil, wiring and a switch

theres alot of great write ups available. I swapped mine out after my actuator crapped out on me, havent had a single issue.
