In september it’ll be 20 years old, with all the little problems i’m finding, i may just have to register it historic

 

It's old, it's not going to be perfect. The frame looks rough but cut it out and patch it in. Few hundred bucks in other odds and ends and you'll have a real nice 3rd gen. Give it a serious exterior detail and that paint will shine up pretty good. That fender needs some love but it's now low and not much is exposed. Remove it, do the body work, paint it black. You'll never even notice it once it's back on the truck. Nice score for $1000

 

Looks like money well spent! How much trouble is that frame though, can you bring that back? That’s right, inspection, I get it. Surprised you fellas don’t have a guy. I used to have a guy but he retired. Cash and carry.

 

That Febreeze for fabrics is good too. There's a product called Ozium too at most auto parts stores. Walmart also sells it. Those citrus gel deodorizers work great too.

Frame patch will be a big deal, gotta cut the exhaust off to get to it.
