There are over 200...haha. It’s a super old cargo box and I have a removal key, but it needs to be unlocked to remove the cylinder. :annoyed:

I do. Was going to swap in an extra set of white line poly bushings on them to keep as spares but never got around to it.

It lines with the pillar fine but doesn’t meet the glass where I wanted. I can hide it under the glass but I have to trim a 5x15 chunk out. No thanks

Guessing you’d have to cut glass for any snorkel, even a 4th gen snorkel?

Yeah I’ve tested three so far. All failed. This was the closest but still not enough.

Next option is do the custom pipe route and cut a normal hole for it to go into the fender but I don’t have the skill and don’t want to pay what others have. So I’ll stock up on MAFs and filters I guess.

Doing my spark plugs this Sunday with my mother in laws boyfriend. Wish me luck TW.

He knows what he’s doing but mechanical work always makes me nervous.

It's really easy. Don't forget to check the gap and the anti-seize.

Drilled the lock out. It now turns with a screwdriver which works for me. Tried to get it out to replace the cylinder completely but time was running out and wife was getting “frustrated” with me. Kept saying we didn’t need it. Well the thing is completely full and so is the back of the car. No way we would have fit it all otherwise.

It’s really not bad at all. Changed my moms 4.0 in a couple hours after never working on the engine before. Go slow, work one plug at a time so you don’t lose parts and everything goes back in the way it came out. Also plenty of people on here to help give advice/knowledge if you need it during the job.
