I also fell into the burred roof rack gang, but could not be more pleased with the customer service from Victory. I hadn't even contacted them yet and @monkeyevil, with the help of @InfernoChalupa, contacted me asking about replacing the roof rack sides. I recently had a bad experience with a bed cover manufacturer, wanting to make me pay to ship back a defective cover. They couldn't have cared less on the phone, basically a big middle finger to my face. Not only is the Victory rack better built than Prinsu, in my unprofessional opinion, but the customer service is fantastic. This is my first big purchase for my truck, so having a company that really wants a happy customer makes a massive difference for me. They are already working on shipping the replacements out, and the process has been extremely simple and customer friendly.

Also, if y'all haven't seen these already, great way to cut down on wind noise and prevent standing water in your 8020(https://www.amazon.com/80-20-Black-...YC/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=) Gonna paint match mine with some Krylon once it gets here:

Subbed to this thread. I love the look of the Victory over the Prinsu and honestly just looking for something different. Would like to know for those of you with this rack what light bars that you know of fit nicely WITHOUT cutting.

I’m planning on going with a light bar with ambers on the ends, and right now it seems it’s either the CaliRaised 43” light bar or the Extreme LED 38” one.

@monkeyevil any chances of a group buy in the future? I’m definitely going to be a buyer soon, but I’m going to go ahead and wait for the burr issue to be worked out completely so keep these pictures coming guys!

The reports of how Victory 4x4 have taken care of their customers with the burred edges has convinced me to pull the trigger on a Victory rack.

I just purchased a victory 4x4. Does anyone have advice/pictures how to trim the weather strip for the brackets. I’ve seen some different approaches from how I initially intended to go about it....
customer service has been great so far. And I went with Victory due to their presence here in the forums and price range, including shipping here to Hawaii.

I did end to end on the front. I'll add a pic after the sun comes up.

How does the Victory roof rack clear the sharks fin on some of the 2nd Gens? I don't see anything listed on their website mentioning it. I know this used to be an issue with the Prinsu racks and Prinsu used to offer a version to clear the sharks fin which is why I'm asking.

I went with the 38 inch extreme LED and had to trim the Light bar bracket up yo accommodate the cord coming out of the light bar. Not to hard at all, a jigsaw with a metal blade, a file and some spray paint did the trick. I can get some pictures tomorrow if you are curious.
