Are trucks with RTT's allowed, trying to plan a trip to ATL and can't decide if I want to go through the hassle of camping or just get a hotel room.

I'll be purchasing the Citypass for an ATL trip.

If there are any more parks closer to the Aquarian, Zoo, and World of Coke let me know.

    Thanks guys,

All Georgia State Parks allow RTTs, they consider them "mounted camping rigs" on their policies: https://gastateparks.org/ReservationPolicies

Sweetwater or Stone Mountain are your best bets. Sweetwater is run by the state and is cheaper than Stone Mountain. On the other hand, Stone Mountain camping is in a large privately-owned park with a lot to do - you could spend a few days climbing the mountain and seeing sights there without even leaving the park.

Last time I was at Sweetwater was almost a decade ago, and they had the lake drained. It was really cool walking on the lakebed. It's really pretty there in the fall, and surprisingly nice for being that close to Atlanta.

Never mind, if i'm going to drive my crappy mpg Tacoma over to ATL and have to pay 25-33 percent of what a hotel would cost that's walking distance from the aquarium and world of coke it's not worth it since then I have to find parking and pay parking when I get there.

Sweetwater may be a trip for another time.

looks like I'll be driving the TDi.

$5 entry + $27 to camp I can't justify sadly. Plus finding parking and paying for it too when at the attractions.
