I have a 2002 3.4L tundra, and every time I start it it would make a grinding noise for like 2-3 seconds but then it wouldn’t do it. But I was driving home tonight, and all of my lights started going dim (including headlights) and radio quit working, and it would barely let me give it gas at first? What could it be? I’ve done replaced the alternator a couple weeks ago but went with an 80 amp instead of a 70 amp like the one I took off of it

The grinding noise sounds like it could be the starter not kicking back fast enough and grinding on the flywheel.

The problems you describe sound like low voltage.. I would have the battery tested, and alternator tested (I have seen bad products out of the box). I would also check you grounds aswell
