I think my truck is broken...

I regularly get 19-21. But right after a gas I baby the hell out of it coasting, rolling stops, you know all the tricks, just to see what I can get and the best I have done is 26. But it’s an * stat in my opinion. It is fun to play the game.

Interesting....I have noticed that I get much better mpg on a very hot day on the highway. My brothers car is the same way. I attribute it to lower air density and less resistance at highway speed. No proof, just a theory. Also, a good tank of non-ethanol helps a lot.

@Dacon - I got the same as you going 75mph, and I have a cab mounted RTT and offroad tires.

 

My best at descent speed so far. I'm leaving Sunday to go to Ohio, probably get about half that in the hills of N. GA, Tenn., and KY on I-75.

 

Why in the world would you want to come here?!

30 mile and 30 MPGs or better

 

It’s a false average based on the gas tank is likely low so the air in it heats up and the fuel flow sensor algorithms are simply wrong. If you want to avoid the variation and frankly large delta in the standard deviation calculate mpg by hand.
