Where do you get the internals for the S/P mills?

Theres some carbides that have replaceable cutters, is that what you have? I think I have a set of the Harbor freight ones. They work ok, the thing is to get a good high grit grinder wheel for your bench grinder if you have one. I need to get a finer grit as mine is a bit too coarse but you might be able to find a place near you that sharpens tools. I need to look around here as woodcraft recently closed.

woodcraft has them but wait for a sale and they are around $10 a piece or get them regular price for around $13-14.50...Theres other cheap ones on ebay but I havent used them. These kits have 6",8",10", 12". I dont use the other bars but the 10" works great.

Not sure of the exact model, since I got it used. But it was basically new, the guy only used it once for about 30min. He couldnt figure it out or do what he wanted so he sold it. I got it for $450 I believe. But its like this.

I’m a rookie at wood working but wanted a kitchen table big enough for 8 people easy. Got it done in a week worked on it for hours after works everyday. I used rough sawn knotty Adler.

carbide works better for acrylics. It does work on woods, but you have to have a different angle or it rips out too quick. You can also switch the carbide tip around and get a better/fresh cutting area. If I remember correctly I had to use a steep angle almost under the wood to prevent it from ripping out.

I'm a metal worker too. I've been in the machining business for 20 years. I might get into woodworking someday as well. I've only dabbled in some things.
Here's a RC Yacht cradle I made recently.

Working on a box for a buddy. It will be a surprise retirement gift. Inside will be a whiskey decanter with the army crest engraved, two glasses and a couple coasters I made. It will be felt lined and inside the lid it will have his rank and name engraved. The top will be an army coin inset in the center.

This is the project I got the walnut and maple for. Main box is walnut, the miter keys will be maple. So far she’s sanded and stained. I’m trying not to rush and let things cure before moving on the next step.
