    Guys

    I have a 06 5 lug with stock steelies.

I want to upgrade to either a 15/16/17" aftermarket rim

I know with the 15"s you can do a 235/75/15 tire

    whats the biggest with a 16 or 17? 235/70/R16 or 235/65/R17?

Also whats the backspacing / offset requirements? I dont plan on lowering / lifting / etc and I dont want any issues rubbing or having to trim or run spacers

    Many thanks!

Try this tire size calculator and see what matches up to to the 235/75/15 tire.
Also check out this to get the 5 lug specs and compare them against other vehicle wheels for a possible swap.
Look into Toyota wheels from Highlanders, RAV4s, and Siennas. Many of them are straight swap. I've got a set of RAV4 wheels on my 5 lug 2015.

Many thanks sir - this is exactly what I need.

I'm looking at some 2016 Mustang rims and everything looks the same except the center bore. the 5 lug is 60.1 and the mustang is 70.5. is that a big deal? it seems like a hub centric ring adapter would worK?

    With adapters they should work.
I would suggest you test fit them before you buy.
I was going to use a set of Jeep rims but the wheel was too thick and there wasn't enough thread for the lug nuts to safely bolt on.
I could have installed longer lugs but it wasn't worth the trouble.

yup thats what got me thinking - I'm just browsing around - its time to replace the tires on my stock steelies and I'm thinking of just seeing what I can find. I found some nice 18" 2016 mustang rims with new 235/50/18 tires and if the price is right i'll strike. But If times runs out I'll throw some 235/75/R15 on the steelies and roll.

Once again, I appreciate the help
