If you're blinding them, they're too close.

Yeah, no. These LED companies that try to make brake light output similar to headlights, and then sell it as a ‘safety upgrade’ are idiots.

I haven't seen them that bright yet. I do find the flashing 'safety' brake lights annoying though.

I was being a bit facetious with the headlight comment. But as I quoted above, some companies are already making them dangerously bright, blinding the trailing drivers. You want the person following you to actually be able to see at night.

Dodge cars, the whole damn rear end is an LED. Super bright and annoying.

Just got my Osrams in the mail today. 10 minutes later and we’ve got much brighter reverse lights. Thanks to the OP for lighting the way (see what I did there?) was a huge help and a drastic improvement.

I got the bulbs today and installed by bending the socket tabs closer together. Really easy. I tried them tonight and I was super impressed. Like another post states, it's really like having headlights in reverse. This is an awesome mod. I ordered Philips Racing Vision +150 at the Same time, because I wanted to keep the stock wiring. After doing this mod, I'm definitely getting the HD wiring harness. Now I wish I bought the Osram Super Bright 100/90w bulbs instead. I guess I'll get them next. Huge thanks crash.

Superior lighting is somewhat like more hp, it is addicting. You'll still get benefit out of the harness plus Philips Racing Visions and be a good improvement over stock. But the Super Brights are going to take that to a whole other level.

If you want to go even further down the rabbit hole, you can amplify performance with higher voltage:

Yeah it's definitely addicting. I got a nice jolt after doing the reverse mod. It totally made me decide on the HD wire harness. I drive allot of very rural areas, with zero street lighting or any other kind of lights. I use my high beams mostly. I think I would really benefit from the 100 watt high beams. Ill see how the Phillips racing visions do, but I have a feeling I'm going to end up with the osrams. I don't think I'm going any further down the rabbit hole than that, but you never know:rofl: I've done a number of mods from this site and these two rank up there with the best. Thanks for putting in all the work for us.

If you are a high beam user, I highly encourage you to get the SuperBrights. The Racing Vision have great low beam but coat the high beam filament in a blue coating which reduces high beam output performance to less than stock. The SuperBrights on the other hand will literally have greater high beam output than HIDs. Well worth the extra few dollars on new bulbs.

Unknown, may be legit. Coming from Lithuania.

Or by domestically direct from the manufacture:

I'll play it safe with Amazon. Thanks for the help. I'll post up on the ultimate headlight page, when I'm hooked up. I probably should of already been posting there. I carried off topic . Reverse light mod rules. Back on topic

Others have successful ordered from here:
    https://www.svetila.com/en/12v-g4-gy635-halogen-light-bulbs/9970-mastercapsule-18161-12v-30w-ir-gy635.html?gmc_currency=4&ad=46111853556&utm_source=googleUSA&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhNKxvL2B5QIVxB6tBh0iLQFrEAUYASABEgLZKfD_BwE

Note the post about the Osrams being lower was with 2 Osrams on the circuit vs 1 Philips. The Osrams are brighter, but the Philips is a better balance of power demands vs output for the circuit.
