2018 SR Tow Hitch

just wanted to add my experience and trials getting everything working on my SR.
Installed the Curt wiring harness and wanted to use the toyota factory oem plug (which has Pollack and made in Mexico on the back).
Needed to also add the

$22 POLLAK 11-998 4' Pigtail Wiring Harness

POLLAK 11-998 4' Pigtail Wiring Harness. Had everything wired up and everything worked except the driver side turn signal and brake light. No wire diagram included in the package that I recall.

Ok, thought that was weird. So I redid the yellow wire connection with the heatshrink connector.
Dang, still nada.
Well bugger, cut the yellow, brown, white and green wires and connected to just the 4 pin connection.
WORKED.
I did look at the connections on the pigtail and thought everything looked ok.
Nope. Finally read the Amazon reviews for the pigtail and found out that the Pollack decided to use the RED wire to supply power to the driver side for brake, hazard and turn signal.
Sigh, started over, getting pretty fast by now.
Success.

Here is what this pigtail is:
Red - Left Turn and Stop - 14 gauge
White - Ground - 10 gauge
Blue - Electric Brakes - 12 gauge
Green - Right Turn and Stop - 14 gauge
Black - Battery - 12 gauge
Brown - Running Lamps-tail lights - 14 gauge
Yellow - Backup Lamps - 14 gauge
