Yea I’ll probably just get one. I didn’t realize they’re so cheap. Maybe I just wanted an excuse to see you but whatever....

 

Oh yeah. Very handy too. I’ve had the same one for years and use it almost daily.

 

Everything is cheap at harbor freight. Don’t forget some cut off wheels for the grinder.

 

Stay away from HF cutoff wheels

 

Especially if you like your limbs and face in one piece. They shatter like fine china at 10,500 RPM.

 

I figured he’d be fine since he would just be watching.


I usually buy mine at either tractor supply or Home Depot.

Always a fun time when one explodes. Lol

 

I’m a fan of the diablo wheels at Home Depot. They’re really thin and reinforced with a some sort of composite sheet. Not sure of what it is exactly but they don’t explode like the HF wheels even if they get caught up.

 

Yeah I like those a lot. My welder has been down for a bit so I need to get that new gun and get back to it. I miss making sparks.

Sometimes they are great other times more like MRE's. Personally liked the chili mac but the bacon/eggs was pitiful. Learned to only add about half the water they usually say to add. On the other hand they are super light and don't add much weight for a few days in the bush. Agree with Cubie, Ramen and other items are just as good.

So I’m not normally the type of guy who does arts and crafts, but my girlfriend has been getting me into it. Did a few paintings with her now and I think I’m getting better at it, the pumpkin was from today. Doing a Halloween themed run with it

I screwed up the threads on one of the center pin bolts and now I can’t get it all the way right. Just spinning. Tried pliers, vice grips,

Guess I’m gonna try and find another center pin or similar size bolt tomorrow at Lowe’s or an automotive store....so frustrating

 

You'd prolly have better luck finding said bolt at Fastenal just to be honest.

 

Go find a similar sized hex head bolt. They work the same. I’ve done that in the past.

EDIT: To be a little more clear, this is what I was referring to. Its a socket head cap screw in black oxide. You'll need to figure out what length and bolt diameter you need but the head fits exactly the same as the centering pin.
