I haven't done it yet but I was thinking about just putting a piece of wood underneath the slide to give it just a little extra height to get over the bed stiffener lip.

So I plugged in my killawatt and found a 55watt draw. That was at 110v.
I’m thinking of changing out my voltage gauge to one with amps and voltage.

Yes I did 3/8 plywood worked great.

For the always on outlet I used 10 gauge wire which still gave me a voltage drop from main battery (0.2)
I used ASE plugs instead of cig light outlet thinking it won’t vibrate out.

I totally forgot all my electrical knowledge once I graduated from college, but this essentially means that it draws about 0.5A? I feel like that number is really small, although I am comparing it to a 20A portable AC unit.

If that is the case, then the 10AWG from the battery to the end of the bed should suffice. I assume a 10 or 15 Amp fuse should suffice?

15 amp fuse is fine. As noted the draw is 50-55w compressor running, average useage has many other factors like ambient temp, direct sunlight, fridge empty/ full.

Enacfire E18 Écouteurs sans fil... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0799K17WS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
    -I used this
Blue Sea Systems 12 Volt Dash Socket https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001U4ZZPK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
    -this
VOODOO (2) True Spec 10 AWG Gauge... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CXZB5X7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
-and this. (Although get the 12 gauge wire)

    and haven’t had any issues.
my only complaint is the wiring is white on the outside.
Further. My only complaint with the fridge is droop with the temps. On eco mode, set to 32° it would go from 34/35 to 30 then repeat.(not constantly, fridge cycles fine) To keep the fridge around 32°
Wish it could be a bit more constant with temps. But honestly... it’s not really a complaint because I have a freaking fridge in my truck lol.

I don’t think the thousands of difference matters between 12 and 10 gauge. I personally think I ordered wrong, and just decided to run with the 12 gauge. Haven’t had an issue yet. Fridge ran in the truck with no issues for 7 days while in Colorado running trails. Good, Rocky, shake the truck trails.
    Pretty happy with my purchase.

10 AWG wouldn't hurt, plus if you want to run any additional items later on then you wouldn't need to upgrade wiring.

This is probably true as well. I only ran one plug to the rear of my truck because I have small portable battery chargers for my phones and stuff for up in my tent. Otherwise everything is rechargeable battery and I just plug stuff in my truck when I’m traveling for the day.

Bed stiffeners aside, is that seriously the recommended mounting method for that slide? Looks like a bunch of tiny #8 sheet metal screws just driven into the plastic bed cover.

I believe a lot of people screw down 1/2 plywood first then attach the slide. At least that's what I plan on doing

It's a composite bed capable of supporting more than a fridge. I wheel mine at least monthly and have had no issues whatsoever.
