97 mpg Tacoma.

Get past the 10,000 mile break in, and she losens up good, 97mpg on way home today. Lol.

 

All down hill coasting ????

 

Here we go again with the Prius posts

 

My Harley 96 got 40 mpg at best. My 500 hp mustang gets 28 on a good day with easy driving,most of the time its 18mpg. My Taco avg. is 18 to 20 running short trips and around town. 97 must have been coasting down hill for 50 miles after filling at the top.

 

My Prius gets about half that....on a good day

 

Beat this. Filled up my gas tank at the top of Government Camp and coasted down Mt. Hood all the way into Zig Zag. I think I only touched the throttle once haha

 

Damn, my temp gauge today said 101

 

My 2017 Taco gets 13.

My 2019 F350 dually diesel 6.7 gets 14.

My Harleys usually get mid 30's.

My 2018 6.4 Power Wagon (R.I.P.) got 15mpg.

Nothing makes sense

This was during a road trip to Joshua Tree CA. All downhill highway for a couple of miles and I just happened to stop right at the bottom of the hill and see that screen on getting out.

Back in the 70s we would always hear about the 100MPG carburetor. Public never got them.
If a bunch of guys in pinstripe suits show up with Bobo and Bubba in tow. RUN!
