    Depends on application for flywheel, if you wanna go fast and all then lighter. But if you wanna tow or rock crawl or do the trail stuff then id go with stock flywheel.

    Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    But how about that rear end? New axles/ Diff or just wait for that to go? Have ECGS build you something? Or maybe it's not much of a worry with stock sized tires. Unless you go all out on the LS?

    I’m not sure yet. It might be a many year project. With a 3 and 1 year old at home it’s hard to find time to do anything. But I’m thinking if I do it. Build it right for all the horse powers. Would love to twin turbo and throw a Ford 9” in the rear or something.

    Honestly
    I dunno what I want. I feel embarrassed like I’m a woman lol. I was to ls swap but no it’s a lot of work and a lot of money. But I no building a 1gr is a lot of money and still won’t make $500hp. But I no it will all bolt in. Brian crower quoted me $1800 for pistons and rods. They best they have. But if I parted out my engine after I fix it. And all the mods I could start the fund of the ls. I just don’t no.

    LS ftw. Way better than the 1gr. The t56 is a terrible shifting transmission though. Notchy as could be. Hands down the worst manual ive driven. Motor itself though is great. It puts a smile on my face everytime i hear it start up. Dont have to downshift a lot of the times because it actually has the torque to pull through the gear.

    Agreed, definitely info worthy of the pg 1

    Would you be willing to part with just the flywheel?

    Build it while its out, throw the s/c back on with the snake bite mod, and then get yourself a bigger turbo for the top end. Thats my plan when my motor blows

    If I keep 1gr. I’m gonna do pistons and rods. With head studs. And Probly get cams and valve springs. So it can rev more and take some more boost. And do as much port work as I can.

    The reality is for me, I dont have the time to do an ls swap. Ill have a way easier time just droppin this 1gr right back in. Convenience is worth alot here

    I'll be interested depending on price for the supercharger. I'm waiting till November to buy a supercharger if I get new.

    Boy, this sounds more confusing than a gender reveal party.

    The issue with the notchy shifting was actually the shifter and it's long unconfident throws into the gearbox. As soon as you switched over to a Hurst or B&M short throw shifter it was like Christmas in the Goats.

    You know, and here I was thinking all of this time that you had a blower already, it sounds like you are prepping and stockpiling parts though. You'll like the blower after you throw all the mods on, I promise. :)

    Yeah no the taco is still n/a but will be boosted in December. The 4runner on the other hand will be going turbo. For tx2k trolling.
