Same here. Just Sunday early AM, if Sunday at all. Need to be back on home court as close to early/mid afternoon as possible. And it’s about a 4-4.5hr drive

I wanna come back down after riding there last weekend :( Had so much fun and only rode my cross bike through the singletrack at Dupont. Would love to blast through there on my mountain bike. (and get more beer from Wicked Weed...that hazy/juicy canned IPA is delicious)

Did we ever figure out a short ride for Friday, or has that idea been scrapped?

I’ll be up there Thursday night so will absolutely be riding Friday. Will you be in town early enough to ride? I took it that most folks would not be in until 5ish. Could still do a short loop in Pisgah though. Even if we just do Sycamore.

Probably need to get a group chat going for those who are confirmed. Even if just to exchange phone numbers.

Yeah, I'll be up there around 1-2pm on Friday and hope to do some sort of short loop in the afternoon before heading off to the brewery for an early dinner/drink. Are there any 60-90 minute loops that aren't on the rest of the schedule for the weekend? I don't want to hit the same trail twice if we can avoid it. but I have no idea which trail to suggest.

A group chat is a good idea. I'll pm you with my name/number to get it started.

Great. I’m meeting Jeff at Kitsuma trailhead :headbang:around 10 or so, then plan to grab lunch in Asheville after we ride. Sounds like you may be up there by about the time we are ready to ride again so I’ll plan something for us, plenty of trail up there.

Include me on any group messages if you don’t mind. Still looking like it’ll be late Friday PM arrival for me.

I'm in but will more than likely meet you Saturday morning at Trailhead - don't get out of work until 6 Friday night so will probably wait until morning to drive up. Add me to the list and ill make sure to get up to Dupont early saturday morning or could meet at campsite - whatever is easiest

FYI, in an effort to save time and ride more, I was planning to eat breakfast at camp so we can get right to riding each morning. Assumed we'd eat lunches and dinners out.

Also recommend you all bring at least a light jacket/windbreaker to throw in your pack.

Feels like we haven’t had rain in ages. At least down in the metro A-hole that is.

I just came back from a long weekend in CO. Wife is already looking at jobs, haha. I dont think we will end up going but if we did we would move to Boulder. So bike friendly!
