Yeah, that's the hard part, being on the other side sucks but you have a job that keeps you super busy

Yea. So being a dependa sucks on that aspect.

Otherwise I’m not really much of one since I make more than her.

    She’s a DC on the Mason DDG-87

She’s stationed in Virginia till 2023 though and I am currently applying for jobs in the area since that’s where home will be when she gets back.

I threw an offer out to her that I enlist so we can be a military couple but she shot that down real quick as I think she’s just ready to start a normal life and have a couple babies lol

Being a duo military couple will BE extra hard!

I've seen so much divorce from that result. Maybe 1% actually does survive, but the stress level on the relationship will be severely tested.

    Some really cool shit
Your help, and it's a great help, is supporting her while she's gone. When I was deployed, nothing made it better like a phone call, or letter, from home. And knowing that my wife was 100% in support of what I was doing, and told me how proud she was of my commitment. Just keep telling your wife that. That's how you help. Though I'm sure you're already doing that!

    Go Navy!

It’s not easy especially after the collisions. Some truly and genuinely like SWO but it’s not my cup of tea.

What's up bro? Were you on the Georgia when she was a BN or a GN?

Took her weapons off while she was a BN, converted her [shipyard sucks!], and did her first 7 deployments as blue crew.
    Were you onboard?

Yeah, from 96-99. I was a STSSN back then. Converted to RM and went surface.
