hello TW in the progress of relocating my horn and I notice this is also hook up to the wire. What is it ? And should I leave it there and split up the wire loom and Separate it from the horn wire before I move it to the driver side? Relocating because I got trd pro grill

I just relocated mine, that’s the temp sensor although not necessarily only for the overhead, it goes to the ecu for a variety of reasons. You can separate the horns from the loom all the way back to the drivers side headlight and that’ll give you enough slack to relocate them. You’ll notice only one wire going to the horns, the mounting brackets are the ground so make sure to bolt them to a grounded source or you have to add in your own ground lead. Make sure to have a little extra wire loom on hand for a clean install.
