Natika sent me a new camera for free so we’ll See how this one goes. I also started having problems with the mirror wire. I cut it from the start so that my image would not be mirrored and s few days ago it’s started flipping back and forth between mirrored and regular

No issues whatsoever with mine. Both the TSS and front camera are working flawlessly.

The simplicity of the install and the seamless use of my Mode button made this a NO Brainer for me.

I know I am late to the party, but, have you checked all of your connections?

I had an issue with mine and it turned out I didn't read the or researched the wiring.

Just installed the module. Had the camera installed in preparation. In hindsight probably shouldn't have installed the camera incase it didnt work but luckily it was fine and everything is working like it should. Did not test drive and check the function but will be on the look out for whether I have any issues in regards to TSS or anything like that. Camera is installed in front of the sensor as close to center as possible.

I just finished the install and noticed that the connections on my radios head unit are slightly different than the OP's post.
Everything works great it's just the connections are different.

Not to go off topic, but anyone use this in conjunction with the Beat Sonic mirroring kit? Specifically an Android setup.

Yup, been looking around and only finding the no. 1 kit that is not compatible with the Tacoma. Anyone have an inside line or source to a kit?

I received this yesterday from Gregory at Car Solutions:

"Unfortunately we are out of stock with this item.
The next stock will be coming in approximately 1 month"

Just installed it a day ago, money well spent. Tried to keep an OEM camera look With the grill.

The unit also works with mirroring system. I didn’t like how the mirroring unit heated up so fast so I removed it in the install.

This may not be what you're looking for, but my stand alone set up is entirely independent of the head unit.
Check the link in my signature if you want more information.
You have lots of options when it comes to the hardware. I'm just showing one example.

Finally got around to installing this. Coming from a 1st gen, I discovered fairly quickly how poor the visibility out of a 3rd gen is for negotiating obstacles.

I ran the front camera input to a 4-camera splitter. The splitter has different viewing modes: one, two, three or all four cameras.

I just have two cameras at the moment.
