interests? national parks, reading, astronomy, comedy, welding, teaching, well-formed women

hobbies? welding, fabrication, making things with my hands, yelling at people (i plan and run athletic competitions), improving methods, playing legos with my kids, reloading, long-distance shooting, teaching shooting, all sorts of stuff

dreams? I don't remember many of them. the last one I had was being chased through Mosul with my two youngest sons, being shot at, both of them being shot, and carrying their bodies to the gates of Marez. it's a terrible dream, but you asked. I take medication to suppress my dreams, mostly so I can sleep in the same bed with my wife and hang out with my kids without them being scared of me.

i like playing with Legos with my kids, because it's never too late to have a happy childhood. the oldest is big enough to start cutting and welding with me, so we do that more now

darkest fears? that my wife will stop loving me. that one's easy. I love my wife desperately, and happily... she's very happy with me. a close second would be something happening to my boys.

addictions. I am currently addicted to smokeless tobacco (copenhagen primarily). I also enjoy coffee, but not to excess. I have also slowed down with drinking, but I wasn't really hooked.

but here's the deal, I just do a lot of stuff outdoors and with my family. I really just want a good first aid kit for my truck.

I have one already, but to my shame sometimes it doesn't make it from the camping gear to the truck. I'd like one dedicated for use with my truck, we do a lot with the truck, everything.

from picnics in high timber to bonfires in the desert to shooting competitions to hauling project steel to short trips to Bible study or going to get a fancy coffee for mom

Ooooooh damn. My favorite activity of the year coming up.

I have recently gotten big into fabrication and have started doing it as a side job and a major hobby. Flap disks are great, or any odd ball tools that you’ve found useful for welding/fabrication.

I love to workout, wheel, camp, and build stuff. Can’t go wrong with anything camping related or truck related. I’ve got enough D-ring shackles to last me a life time, but another recovery strap or something of the sort would be cool.

I have an ‘18 4runner that I’m currently building front and rear bumpers for, and is getting 35’s and new gears in the spring. Only thing left for it is a winch, aux fuse box, a bunch of lights, and a roof rack. Ditch light brackets and or/ditch lights would be awesome.

other than that, I like hats and wear a large in shirts, medium if it’s a bigger one. I’ve recently developed a fascination with hot sauces, so your favorite hot sauce, or just a unique local one would be awesome!

Oh boy I don't even know. Camping is pretty great, so camping gear is always appreciated. Hot sauce, whiskey, recipes, or just about anything else! Organizational things like tool rolls or MOLLE pouches would be much appreciated.

I'll post my infamous list of shit I want to do to my truck in my build thread if you're looking to spoil me. Recovery gear would be awesome, that's where I'm currently weakest. But I'll be happy with anything!

 

What's up stalker Santa!

I drive a 2015 Tacoma TRD Off Road Access Cab Auto 4x4.

A few things about me:
Obviously love wheeling, the outdoors, camping, my gal and my dog.
Things I need for wheeling: oh man, the list is long... but it's mostly all major items so I'll leave this alone unless you know something cool that I can't live without.
Outdoors: I could use a new jacket for cold weather - size Large
Camping: I could use a new flashlight and a better lantern.
Gal: She loves stuff too, drives a mostly stock 2017 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 in quicksand. She's itching for a lift, already has wheels/tires and sliders. But she'd also appreciate a little getaway for two!
Doggo: His name is Moose, he's a newfoundland/poodle mix. Almost 6 months old, about 50 pounds, and an adorable ball of fluff. We do need a good set of shears to cut down his long coat. We also need a harness and dog seat belt safety thing since he loves riding in the truck with us.

Beyond all that I love getting stuff that's unique to you or your area. Things you find cool or neat, something that's made your life better or easier. I'm open to all of it!
I also have a cheapo pocket knife that could use an upgrade, or something bigger for camping purposes.



End of the day - have fun please. I'm not easily offended, please don't look at something and be "ahh idk if he'd get mad" I won't. TWSS is all about fun for both parties!

My home is a labour camp and is constantly under some form of de or construction. Currently I'm finishing/outfitting my shop so Home Depot or Lowes Gift cards are great.
