I pieced it together. The connector is a Hopkins 40975, the harness for the trailer plug is a hopkins 40985, and I finished with a Hopkins 47275 trailer brake controller installation kit. I had to get a second fuse holder from NAPA, and I also bought 15 feet of corrugated tubing. Everything else I had at my shop

Took the rack and tent off the truck finally. Racor ceiling hoist showed up on Amazon again for $200 so I jumped on it.

i have not ever heard of Corroseal until your post. What made you choose this product over the wide variety available out there?

how much testing have you done with FF?
i would be a first time user (only heard about on TW earlier this year) and just curious about its application still and how it wears and weathers for my particular area and needs
    thanks.

I have asked TW people from my general regional area in Minnesota about the product but they have 3rd gen trucks and yada yada yada

Might be nothing but marketing BS but chose the X2 wheel locks from Gorilla.
    15708999939181.jpg
Now just need to get a 5th lock with the same "key" for my spare. Kinda wish thay had them in black though I can always give'em a spritz with a rattle can.

I tried taking the bed off today but 3 of the 6 bolts snapped the nuts off the bottom side of the bed. Guess I'm going to be cutting them off and making something custom to hold it in place moving forward.

Started painting the frame with some Eastwood frame paint and rust encapsulator in the areas that have any surface rust. This will be the first winter in salt country so I'd prefer not to take any chances. I already gave the frame an internal coating.

Would've been nice to pull the bed off but I don't have the time/tools/space/labor to do it, so I'll just be covering what I can access by removing the wheels and crawling underneath. It's hard to see but I painted the brake drum as well while I had the wheel off since it had a lot of surface rust, and I sprayed the exhaust tip with some hi-temp flat black paint. In hindsight, using the rust encapsulating rattle can primer is probably easier than using the brush-on rust encapsulator for the brake drums, so I'll probably use that on the other side.

Rest of the vehicle is tomorrow, maybe into Monday if it takes that long.

To start, I have an '03 Pre runner with a 2.7 motor and auto trans.
On Friday, I installed a hi flow Magna Flow catalytic converter, part #447184. There are good/ bad things about it.
The good is, more bottom end and getting better fuel mileage.

The bad... the finish is bad. The collector tubes were not the same length and crooked, same for the single tube after the cat. I fixed these and that was good. The O2 sensor location sucks bad. The O2 flange has 2 threaded lengths welded onto it... they were crooked and askew from each other and are too close together to allow both the gasket and sensor to slide onto it and the flange is not welded directly over the hole for the sensor push in. As for the gaskets, the 2 at the collector were not the same, but close enough to use.
Finally, I had to TIG the heat shield as the spot welds were garbage. I now have an exhaust leak that I will remedy next weekend.

For once, I'd like to purchase an aftermarket part and have it function as advertised. I'll speak to a rep at SEMA next month.
Has anyone else had issues with this?

    this looks good
what did you use for the internal frame coating?
i had my drums blasted and powder coated a couple months ago for a reasonable price, just a few days of down time is all
they were not bad, just a little dust no major crust, but they are smokin black now and will see how they handle the first winter

After two months down I finally got my truck running again. It running like nothing even happened. On a side note someone did go it to the truck and stole my molle panel took off with my winch remote, air down tool, and my cables for my jumper pack.

I've done a mod or two
Ever since they bought bosal their quality has dropped on some products that they've offloaded to the Bosal facility to build. Same thing happened with Land Cruiser headers. The MagnaFlow ones used to be nice beautiful stainless parts. and now that usually come to you still stainless but not polished was poorly welded collectors and misaligned flanges.
