Welder: Lincoln 256 or 260

    Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
    Looking for a MIG welder. Tried and true Lincoln 256 or gamble on the newer 260? $500 rebate on the 256. Or Miller 252 for roughly the same price as the Lincoln 260?

    Which Manufacture has the best Support in your area ??

    Since your talking brand new out of the box it is a choice of color.

    Here I would say Miller because there Support is far above Lincoln

    Then newer machines always have the pain of being newly born always issues of some sort

    Looking at the Millermatic 255 also. However, while I like all the features, it’s an inverter machine that was released less than a year ago. The weight is really nice compared to the Lincoln 252/260 and it does pulsed MIG.
