New GoPro 8 and 7 cameras are great, but I am too cheap.

Enter Akaso cameras. 1/2 price and almost exact copy. I purchased the Akaso V50 Pro SE for $150.00 vs GoPro @ $399.00.

Many YouTube videos comparing the two, so I will not try to sell you on these copies.

One issue is our Tacoma mount will hang the cameras upside down. That is ok for the GoPro as it has a hardware function to flip the image, whereas many camera copies must rerender the clip in a video editor to flip the image.

So below are the accessories to I used to mount the camera right side up.

I have a Yi Lite action cam, and it won't rotate my video either. I like your setup. Can you share a link?

    You are welcome.

Unfortunately each model have different firmware and firmware options. Mine does not have that “flip” option so I used to have to rerender it.
