I intended to rebuild these with new top hats (included). While waiting for top hats, I scored a set of Icons. That’s why these are for sale. The shocks themselves are less than 2 years old, and my truck isn’t daily driven so there aren’t a ton of miles on these either.

I rented a sketchy spring compressor, and attempted to get the shock nut off, after the top hats came in, but I didn’t want to die so I stopped. The nut didn’t budge, but I did forget to soak the threaded end in kroil or something which would help. That being said, I’m not 100% they will budge. So I’m pricing everything accordingly

—— Blistein 5100 shocks 884 springs and OEM LCAs —— SOLD

Wanted to have a friend build up a spare set of beefy LCAs, but after talking with @EatSleepTacos I realized it wasn’t really worth the effort.

The shocks are OME 884 / 5100 combo. The lower bushings are stuck to the LCA, and I don’t have the tools to cut the bolt out easily. I was hoping to have the 5100s as trail spares.

bought these new in August, but I think an adjuster isn’t working or something, I can’t seem to aim them nicely. They work just fine but I’m not happy with their output. So These would be perfect to replace cloudy headlights, or a retrofit!

no broken tabs, outer lenses are perfect, honestly they can probably be made better by playing with adjusters, I just got annoyed with them.

Have these been repainted? Approx miles on them? I’m located in CLE. Might be willing to drive out next weekend, then hit the trails at rays town on the way home.

 

My bad, just saw this!

Yeah, I hit them with a quick coat of paint a few weeks before the top hat gave out. (The overspray is from a rush paint job I did when the springs were on another pair of shocks OME 90000) Approximate miles, maybe ~ 10k or less? I daily drove the truck for 6 months after I first installed them and then went on to buy a daily driver after that. the truck basically only got driven on weekends from that point on, so not that many miles.

Raystown is amazing. We go to dirtfest there every year!
