I could tell this is a GSD just by the silhouette shape of the ears! Good looking German Shepherd.

    :)

Can anyone recommend an emergency or bug out kit for our pups? This will be my girl’s first season out in the field with me doing some bird hunting and we’re in pretty remote areas. I want to make sure I’m prepared should something go wrong.

I'd put a picture of your dog in it incase they run away on you. Bandages, antiseptic, Antibiotic cream, Duct tape, Multitool/leatherman, Pediatric Benadryl aspirin, Vet cling-wrap, Emergency blanket, towels, Gauze pads and superglue that can bond skin safely.

I would make it double as one for you too, never hurts to have a torniquete too

something like this too if your dog gets hurt you don't want them licking the area

My #certifiedpreownedpuppy enjoying a fall ride. Big thanks to the TW members that steered me to the Duluth trading Mobil mud room. It helps a ton containing all that fur!
