So, yesterday I plastidipped (actually rustoleum peel rough texture) my chrome running boards. They look great. BUT ... I notice some tiny spots of chrome glimmering through. I sprayed them about 24 hours ago. Does anyone know if can spray another coat over them now?

same, just prep surface as normal. make sure you're not putting a layer over particles of grit, etc. if you are 2 years in like me you may need to remove it just for a clean surface. but the dip itself will hold even on some crud.

Awesome. Thanks. Rustoleum has a new “rough finish”. It looks like almost like a powder coat or a light texture bed liner. Looks pretty cool on the running boards.

    thanks for your help!
