So I've seen a few uses setting us fuse blocks/ relay blocks in the forum (unfortunately I can't find the thread).

Whats up with those? Are they used to wire up lights and aux equipment?

Are people using them because they are cheaper than Switch Pros and SPods?

If that's the case, Id def use one. Just need helping finding a thread on them.

Stock fuse panels are virtually impossible to add circuits to so you either end up with a rat's nest of wires to the battery or you add one or more auxiliary fuse/relay panels.

A fuse block holds fuses, it gets powered by a heavy gage wire from the battery. Each relay draws its power from one of the fuses and each relay is turned on by a switch in the cab. A relay has 2 circuits: one that uses power from a switch to energize a coil and another that passes the high current to your accessory when the coil is energized. The best thing would be to bone up on this thread, bar none the best thread for learning how to diy a fuse and or relay panel. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...fuse-relay-block.399454/page-39#post-20721630

Got a dash cam, dedicated phone charger, adding rear lights eventually. It keeps shit organized and makes diag easier if there is electrical problems later on
