Have you had a chance to use the Cordova yet, if so how was the ice retention? I've had my eye on one but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I did! I actually bought it for a recent trip to Moab. I got back last week. I pre chilled it, filled it and drove to Albuquerque from Dallas, for a day at the balloon fiesta. Then off to Moab where I topped it off for the next three days. It took just a few pounds more. My drinks weren’t cold when I put them in so I think I lost most of that ice from that.

Temps were far below average at night and day temps were sixties. I came home with ice to spare. Cooler was in bed of truck for seven days. Topped off only once in Moab...

As far as construction of the cooler it is phenomenal. the non slip pads on the bottom actually work too well. Hard to scoot a 100+ lb full cooler in the bed. LOL I strapped it down for rose garden hill but it never really moved that much for most of the trip on the trails...

That's good to hear. I appreciate you sharing you're experience with it.
