Actually I'd recommend three "fixes" if not done yet:

    1. Replace sealed beam headlights with 200mm Hella Euro code with quality H4 incandescent bulb (stay away from LED)
    2. Install gas hood struts. Redline or Spiker.
    3. Instal Honda Odyssey windshield sprayers.

I qualify these as fixes to bad design, not upgrades or mods.

She's gorgeous. Welcome to the club. Regular cab Tacomas are the best Tacomas. I also highly recommend the Honda wiper fluid sprayers. Here's the part number.

They give an even fan pattern instead of a swollen prostate pee-stream so it cleans better with less wiper fluid. They're also adjustable and they fit in the stock location like they're meant to be there.

i do not think mine do a pee-stream, it seems like an even fan pattern
maybe i can figure out how to take a video of what i have going on to doublecheck

On the topic of H4 headlamps I am rocking the Cibie H4 headlamps from Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and GE Megalight Ultra +120 bulbs. I have bought off of eBay four or five sets of these bulbs from a guy in Bulgaria.

"Daniel Stern Lighting is North America's premier automotive lighting consultancy and supply house. Mr. Stern is an experienced consultant in the field of automotive lighting science and technology, setup, regulation, development, history and modification."

LED bulbs can be used everywhere except headlights. Search for "why LED bulbs should not be used in reflector headlights" - ton of info about it.

If you have OEM 1st gen Tacoma sprayers it is not fan type. OEM nozzle has two holes spraying a strean of fluid from each hole. So with OEM sprayers you have 4 points (or rather vertical lines) of fluid on the windshield. Odyssey nozle sprays fan-type pattern.

Thanks. I was reading about some glare issues. Then again I saw you suggested euro spec Hellas which I wouldn’t think would be any safer either since they are made to reduce glare on the opposite side of the road and since they drive on the left it would be actually glaring into the oncoming lane in the US. I have had euro spec Bosch and Hellas on my ‘71 MB 200D. But that’s a whole different care but euro spec.
