So I am deployed and I sold my 2011 a few weeks before I left home. I was inquiring to see what the dealerships in my area would offer for it since I was planning to buy a 2020 Tacoma anyway when I return from this deployment in summer 2020. Most dealerships low balled the shit outta me with $12,000-$15,000 offers. One dealership offered me $19,000 so I took it.

Fast forward two months, I am currently deployed. I kinda feel sad that I sold my truck. More sad than I thought I'd feel. . . Anyway, I thought I'd get that off my chest here as I scroll through all the mods people are doing.

Well don't spend your money on stupid stuff while deployed and get a lower mileage 2014-2015 when you get back.

Or throw all the extra pay into your tsp fund so you can build a decent retirement fund

Welcome to TW! Thanks for your service. :oldglory:

Stay safe and hit me up when you return from deployment. I might be ready to sell my 2011 if you are still woeful over selling yours. :D
