2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road
    Hey All,

I just got the 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road. It’s my first truck. It’s beautiful but I notice the truck gets a lot of vibration over any bumps or holes in the road. Also, if I’m driving between different levels of my company parking garage it vibrates a lot (going up and down parking levels). Not sure if this is just how the truck rides, I previously was driving a cross over and never felt any vibration while driving over bumps.

Anyone else notice excessive vibration while driving this truck over city roads? If so how did you remedy this?

    Thanks.

Check the tire air pressure as an easy remedy to a harsh ride. An empty-bed truck does not need the tires at max pressure. Obviously, being a new truck... you MUST take it to the dealer and report ANYTHING that seems wrong... IT IS UNDER WARRANTY!

Sounds like this is typical for a Tacoma TRD off road? Maybe something I have to get use to. Not use to feeling all those bumps in the road. I’ll definitely check the tire pressure though. Thanks all for the welcome!

It depends on what kind of tires... You should do the "Chalk Test" to find ideal empty load pressure. See my link for that. I have Hankook Dynapro ATMs and found 34 psi front and back was good. They are a 44 psi max tire.
My 2010 Off-Road DC 4x4 came with BFG Rugged Trail TAs. They had a max pressure of only 35 psi (I think?) and I ran them empty load at 29 front and 32 rear (the factory recommendation).
