Arb onboard air

    Hey everyone, glad I found Tacoma world today! I have a 2019 Tacoma and I want to put onboard air under the hood with a quick connect either in front or back and have the switch located inside the cab just to the left of the steering wheel. I won’t be getting a locker, air tank or train horn this will be strictly for airing tires during hunting trips and 4 wheeling. I have purchased the
    $338 arb ckma12 on-board air compressor high performance 12 volt for air locker differentials and tire inflation
    arb ckma12 single compressor with inflation kit and pressure gauge but haven’t received it yet.

    A few questions I have are do I need to have a spod module or something similar? Or can I plug this straight to the battery? I’m sure it’s safer to use an spod but if I can avoid spending money for that then I will.

    Any good compressor mounts you’d suggest? I don’t have space by the intake because there’s an abs boost there.

    Any wisdom you can pass along about onboard air would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
