    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    I do like my skinnies, my only one issue with them is that they flex a bit more than I would like in the turns at speed. Lol

    Man, what a GREAT feeling to have the kid down, put your feet up, sink into the couch, and crack open a cold beer! I have a 3yo & a 1yo so CHEERS...

    Shooting comment got me thinking... like Mod Day & camping trips... maybe we plan a Shooting Day? Anybody got some land and wanna host? I just bought all the parts for a completely new AR build, hoping to assemble it this weekend. Yall know better... Maybe a meetup like this should drop into the PMs? I don't know the rules around here. Can multiple people join in on the same PM thread? I just want an excuse to sling some lead!

    I love the AFE filters. Get the dry filter though. Much better than the wet

    Edit...Also, outside of getting a better tube from the air box and the throttle body, no real difference in flow numbers on the air filter housing.

    We had someone willing to host a shoot not too long ago. I'm sure we can get something together.

    Curious where this is. Assuming around Asheville.

    Kind of glad to hear someone not in love with the Falken ATs. Don't know why.

    @TRDridgerunner

    I got the AEM version that I'll sell you if you just want to see what kind of difference it makes.

    I have the AEM version in my Ford. The only real benefit (and why I bought it) is lifetime cost. The AEM dryflow was $40, a paper was $25. So after two service intervals I’ve already come out ahead.

    That was my logic as well. However, I have not been overly impressed. I do like being able to clean it though.

    If it matters to you, I can't say I'm in love with mine. I think they are solid tire and look good. No better or worse than any other AT I've run. I do have some balance issues as others have reported. Mine either aren't at the level that some have experienced, or I just don't pay as much attention to it :notsure:

    All that to say I'd probably buy them again, but I could also be just as happy never buying them again.

    Some guys put air soft bb's inside to help balance out their wheels and tires.

    It doesn't really matter to me. I'm sure they are a fine tire. They just seem to be the new bro tire of choice. I see/hear lots of praise, but no real testimonials of actual use. Maybe I'm off base?

    They look just like a plain ol tire to me! I have heard stories of the falkens not balancing very well here and other forums as well.

    It doesn't have to matter to you or not, and you're not off base. Your original comment seemed to indicate you'd heard only glowing reviews. I'm just offering another type of personal feedback. Its done for me what I'd expect from an AT tire. Nothing more, nothing less.
