I’ve been wondering if TVD or @AJT DESIGN was going to ever come up with a solution for the door handles without having to replace them!

I've been using waterless car wash for a few years. i use it on my 02 WS6 Trans Am. when i purchased my tacoma i went with this
Chemical Guys HOL401 Eco Friendly Drought-Buster Waterless Car Wash & Wax Kit (8 Items)
    from Amazon and
Ethos Waterless Car Wash + Wax Kit, 10X Concentrated, 160 Ounces When Diluted, Four Ultra Plush Microfiber Towels. Premium, Easy to Use Formula! The Most Efficient Way to Clean Your Vehicle Available!
I use chemical guys first then Ethos. its easy to use and it works well. Both kits come with cloths.

Seems to me that it would take a long time to wash a Taco with a squirt bottle and a towel. I guess you Cali people have no choice, huh?

Na im in new york....it takes about a half hour to do it.....I have hard well water so it leaves spots when i wash by hand. the sprayer from chemical guys is pressurized by pumping it. spray and wipe off...the spray bottle is more of a wax.

Thought you guys were in a drought or had a water shortage. Heard people were covering their yards with Astroturf or painting it with eco friendly green pain.

We all hear weird/odd things that “good folks” from around this country do. Don’t believe all you hear, ask questions and trust answers.

Most of the state was in a drought several years ago but things are much better now. The central coast, where I live, was in a severe drought for several years. We could only water or wash our cars three days a week. Some people got synthetic lawns, I took my lawn out in front and put in drought tolerant native plants. Looks much better than lawn I think. We still have a lawn in back.

Best $150 I've spent on my truck since getting it. Just need to get some hardware and send one of the rears out for repair, then find a shop to put them.

(the rear on the left, you can see the threaded part is broken off, it needs a new piston)

EDIT: the drivers side shock is also slightly more compressed than the passenger side to make up for the taco lean. In the picture, the right side is the left shock, the left side is the right shock.

Waterless wash is awesome as long as your car is not dirty. Used it all the time on my Snake and it worked perfectly. My Tacoma? Ummm, no. Too much mud and sand, even if you rinse it first it’s not feasible for a vehicle you use off road, unless it’s a left coast vehicle in the dunes I guess. I actually have to drive in mud.
