Funny things is, the cop who pulled me over had windows that were at least as dark as mine.

There is a city cop here in town that has a white Ford F-150 crew cab and you cannot even see his outline when he is sitting in it. Police don't bother you here in southeastern Illinois. They have their hands full with meth heads.

Man all you guys in CA that haven't gotten popped yet for your tint are lucky...I made it a couple years on my last car but eventually got a ticket for it in Pasadena. Had to waste a day proving to a judge that I got it removed.

Did Lumar 35% on my Truck front driver and passenger sides. Not happy with it myself, so when it came time to tint the wife’s 4runner we went with 20% on the front driver/passenger, 35% full front windshield, and 0% UV film on everything else. We haven’t had issues living on a Military Installation, in Missouri’s bipolar climate.

I won't go darker than 20% since I do night driving mostly.
5% on top of windshield though.

set up my tint appointment for saturday. I had 5% on my last car and at night I had to roll my window down. Can't beat the privacy though so sticking to it again this time and possibly doing very light tint on windshield. Officers here in Sw illinois have never bothered me, just kind of worried about it when I travel....

I'm happy with 35% VLT on my Taco. It allows for privacy and protection from UV, but I can still see pretty well at night. I've never once been hassled for tint.

Yeah just 35% on the front windows. Windshield is stock, though it is a replacement at this point.
Still passing MA inspection every year which has only gotten more complex in recent years.
