Check all the hoses too. It could be the tensioner like you said. It could be the gauge. Any difference in power? I gauge myself by passing Chevys. LOL. Then I know everything is working right.

What kind of scan tool are you running?
A scanguage or ultra gauge doesn't have the capabilities to register boost that I know of.

John and I drove through a tunnel under the bridge this morning. The sound was so incredible in his truck. I can’t describe it. It was like a preview to Top Gun Part II

It could be the gauge. I have calibrated my innovate twice abs used two different pulleys. The reading are exact to the nearest 0.1. For peace of mind, I would install the AFR/boost gauge to help and of course the cool factor.

Anyone running 3.4 S/C with Automatic Transmission and smaller pulley?

Got a suggestion from Tim to go to a 4 Runner tread for that, but just wanted to double check first.

Ouch. I just found the post. $2100.

Now offering adapter kits for the 95-04 Tacoma 2RZ, 3RZ, and 5VZ trucks. As always our kits come with the Haltech Elite 750 (upgradable), adapter harness that plugs into your factory harness, the new Haltech wideband, and a start-up base tune. The robust Elite series ECU's are waterproof internal datalogging, boost control, and has and internal MAP sensor good for up to 30 lbs of boost and gets rid of the over sensitive non adjustable MAF sesnor. As with all our systems, we supply the newest wideband from Haltech that is now also waterproof and even faster then before. Retail price on these is $2100.00

shit. Just base tunes so Nevermind. Hopefully OVtune can do something that makes more sense for a very mild supercharger.

I would go to the stock pulley. It’s probably something simple. From there, I would get all the corks figured out. Like the MAF, TPS and resetting ECU, checking vacuum lines and get it to behave. I know the guys at Toyteclifts runs a 2000 4-runner 3.4L with a stock pulley and a tranny cooler with no issues. He’s got 35s and 3.5 inches up with bumpers. He let me drive it. It’s awesome.

Water kit? Or water/methanol kit? I am doing a summer time distilled water only kit that I haven’t heard of anyone using before. Is that what you have?

Nice meeting you too. Ask for Mike, he is the shop manager there. Super nice guy and down to earth. His runner has 280k miles.
