TRD Pro Army Green Arrived!

I received a text last night with pictures of the truck from the dealer. I dropped everything I was doing and came to pick her up! Extremely satisfied and I feel it looks better in person than any pictures will show. Looking forward to a roof top tent and my first overland trip!

Congratulations. I ordered mine a couple of months ago. Still waiting on build date. What was your build date?

 

Thank you! Build date was 05Nov2019 and arrived to northern Illinois on 07Nov2019. Fast delivery. I was fortunate to have a dealer with it already allocated in the correct color with the predator steps as I wanted. I really lucked out. They through in mudflaps for free for me and paid msrp!

 

Anderson Toyota Loves Park IL. They were very good to me with communication and hospitality along the process. I highly recommend them.

Nice looking truck!! I haven't seen an army green in the wild yet but the color is definitely a looker on the Tacoma. Go get that thing dirty.

Appreciate it fellas. Taking my first trip this coming week. Heading to the Shawnee National Forest. Got a RCI 12” bed rack for the iKamper Mini (the tent is on order but will not arrive until March 2nd). Until the tent arrives I am a ground dweller, which is fine. Zero complaints with the truck, very happy with my purchase. Ralphq17 make sure to post pics when you get that beauty in MGM!

A roof rack is definitely on my short list, possibly one with a light bar. Where did you buy the flag decals?

I think I know the answer to this, but I'll ask anyway. Does the bed rack prevent the use of a tonneau cover? Thinking of getting a soft rollup one like this:

Mojo Jojo, I got the magnetic flags from TactilianUSA. And the tonneau cover bed rack combo is now possible because RCI Off-road offers a bracket now as of recent but only certain covers work. Check their website for further details.

 

Heres mine. I dont like the tires so will change those out soon. Do you think its worth installing TRD Pro in take breather? Thanks

 

Added the Revtek 427AP lift kit, BFG KO2’s 285/75R16 tires, 20% carbon window tint, NextBase 522 front and rear dash cam, MaxTrax with RCI bedrack mounts, Prinsu load Panels, Plano AW2 case on Roof rack, Viair 400P air compressor, the iKamper Mini, Mountain Hatch tailgate insert, Total Chaos bed stiffeners Me-So Customs ultimate map lights, Me-So Customs Gasshole, Me-So Customs TRD Pro coin tray, and I have a Lil B’s hybrid front bumper and some RCI 5* sliders on order. @Cementpost I personally do not feel as though the TRD CAI is worth it but others will say different. Do what makes you happy and build it for you however you want it to be after all that is what it is all about bud. The stock tires are now my winter set and the new BFF KO2’s 285/75R16 tires will keep me going on the trails much better than the stock would. That is a good upgrade to do. I would also rid of the predator tube side steps if you intend to do any off-roading with it those things are rocker panel wreckers! I am removing mine as soon as my RCI rock sliders arrive in a week or two.
