Been searching for one just like that one, but sadly its out of my budget. I was looking to spend about 10-14k tops, seems to be in amazing shape for an old truck, low miles too! I went to look at a 2004 just like that one listed for 10k this week, sadly the frame was caked with the coat material, and it was pretty rough rust wise, also the bed had rust bubbling, through the paint which you couldn't see in the pics, needless to say my heart was crushed. It had 100k miles in the clock.

That’s the same color and truck I had, mine was limited. I do miss it sometimes, but really like the bigger size of newer Gens.

Whichever the case, they say no rust but no pics of the frame, engine or underneath. If it’s from Jersey and no rust, they must have never driven in the winter.

    Too few to list.
Saw your post. The price is on the high side but being that it only has 45K miles, they are asking for a premium. Hard to tell with the frame pics they sent you as there are rust prone areas to check.

Stupid price. $17k is most of a good 2nd gen with way more of all good things like power and interior space.

I worked at the third highest volume Toyota dealer in the country. My truck was almost identical to this; red with a shell, 2004, 42k miles. Paid $16250 happily for it otd, being an inventory manage I scooped it up before it made it into the system. By the evening we had three people trying to put a deposit down on it, next day i've never seen so many sales people angry at me in my life. This is all without it being on our website or even in our system for more than 5 minutes (the time it took for me to enter it in myself then declare it sold to myself)

Point is, its worth what people will pay, and someone will pay this

No worries. I've spent 3 years working on this turd but I'd never put that kind of money into something like that when I could have a much more up to date vehicle.

Yeah I totally get it. All preference. I think first gens look better than pre face lift second gens so that was a big tipping factor for my purchase decision
