Yeah, they have a good amount of products but they aren't overkill like Chemical Guys & some of Autogeek's brands. My biggest like with Optimum is the UVA/UVB protection in their Spray Car Wax. It seems to do an excellent job protecting the plastics on my vehicles.

I've wanted to do this to my truck for a while now. But never wanted to pay over $300 for someone to do the ceramic coating. I think I might have to give this a shot.

Just keep in mind a spray coating will not last as long as a professional coating. The most expensive part of a pro coating is they are going to do a paint correction so the paint is perfect before applying. If you want a step up from spray coating then I would suggest a consumer coating like Optimum Gloss Coat, Cquartz UK, GTechniq Crystal Serum light topped with Exo. I have used all of those have been pleased with the results.

Yesterday, I put coats of this Hybrid wax on my Tacoma. It definitely makes it easier to wash the vehicle due to it hydrophobic properties. About 90% of road grime just rinses off. The first time I used it, I was greatly disappointed but that was b/c I used too much. I like it now. I will still use MeGuires carnauba wax as my main product but this Hybrid stuff does great for its intended use.

I think you will like it. Just do like he says on the video and hold the bottle in one hand and the hose in the other. Don't let it set on the panel, hose it off as quick as you can. Once you are done with the whole truck dry it off.

Appreciate the tip. I actually ordered the 16 ounce concentrate....so that should last me a while.

Washed and clay bar’d my truck tonight, then did paint correction where needed with Scratch X 2.0. Then applied the hybrid ceramic wax. Paint looks beautiful and glossy. Water beads like crazy. Now just need to see how long it will last.

It looks like the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax can keep up with the "Pro" ceramic coatings better than most.
Connor, Why do you call a "Hard Pass" on this stuff?

I haven't watched all the video there. Appears to be a good one. One item to caution every one on is not all of those products are true ceramic products. For example, Shine Supply Clutch is strictly a booster similar to Carpro Reload.
