    That looks really good!

i’ve been off the wagon since Thursday night. Went out to a fancy Italian restaurant with a client and our wives. I’ll find out what the real damage is tomorrow when I get on the scale. But I’ll jump right back on the wagon. :D

I don't jump back on the scale right after a carb day on keto. I don't do it with any diet but especially keto. You can easily gain over 10lbs of water from a day of carbs. Screws with your mind. Body fat doesn't come on that quickly it takes consistent over eating to see fat gain.
I was on a business trip last week and I did eat carbs. I'm not jumping on the scale for a week.

Although I will say this. I did enjoy trying some new foods on my trip... but breaking the diet is so not worth it. I've been miserable the last several days. Carbs stimulate your appetite like crazy and make you think you are starving when you aren't. My workouts have absolutely sucked the last few days too. I have no energy to get through my lifting sessions and my running sessions have been miserable because of the water shift, I'm getting cramping.
It's not worth it. I plan on staying pretty diligent for awhile. Carbs = feeling like total crap.

Got back on the wagon and started my keto diet again last Monday after hitting a lifetime high of 172lbs and graduating to a size 34 pants. Last time I did keto I went from 165 down to 140 inside of 3 months for a loss of 25lbs.

After 1 week I am down 7 lbs to 165 this morning! This time my target weight is 135 and get back into my size 28 jeans. Only 30 lbs to go!

Day 6 into the diet or lifestyle change as some say. I’m down around 5lbs at the moment. This is a very sustainable as far as eating goes with things that are enjoyable. I’ve come around so many recipes online it’s great as well as takeout options that are delicious ( chipotle keto bowl is awesome ).

I did find getting back to work Monday till today was very harsh with wanting to fall onto old habits and grab a hoagie or pizza for dinner. Today the cravings are a little less thank god but it is a tough battle. Here’s to trying to keep this going !

Keto plus Intermittent fasting is my go to when I wanna shed weight fast. The 2 combined are amazing for weight loss. When I’m off of keto I stick with IF to maintain weight.

I’ve enjoyed keto and IF very much (although weight loss is not my goal).

I just ran 12 miles 16 hours fasted and am now enjoying my bacon and eggs breakfast :)

Ah yes, the bacon or steak and egg breakfast is my favorite!

I only use IF and keto for minor weight loss for the summer time, to shed a few winter pounds before pool season. Other than that, I just feel good while on it.

IF has made me feel pretty great. I tried it just to give it a shot but I’ve really come to enjoy it.

    Pretty crazy right!

Been doing decent-sized rides on the weekend while fasting. It's the way to go for sure!

I have not run into any energy issues yet, in fact I feel I can run forever. I’ve got a 14, 16, and 18 miler in the coming weeks so lets see if this trend keeps up.

Anyone here as excited to get back to keto after the holidays?

Honestly outside of beer I really have not cared to deviate at all from keto.

    I’m really enjoying the lifestyle.

I’m controlling my carb intake for athletic performance so there will be periods I have to up the carbs a bit... I’m almost dreading that lol.

It wont be a lot but enough to have some fruit or a serving or rice or potatoes.

Its actually going to be when my training intensity peaks so I’m curious if I’m going to stay in ketosis with 50-70g of carbs a day. Will have to see

I took the time to prep food over the weekend just for tomorrow, the day I go back 100%. It’s truly a night and day difference in the way I sleep and general overall feel. The same you do, I enjoy the keto lifestyle. Happy New Years everyone.
