Dang the prices on those have gone down quite a bit since they first came out. Will probably work great for as often as theyll be needed

Lol i've noticed your go-to is self tapping screws

 

Be to much of a pain when I would need them. Gonna get some t-nuts and bolts and some type of plumbing metal stick with holes.

If it gets someone out of a jam once it was worth it. I’ve never needed them personally but seen plenty where they’d help.

Nothing wrong with them, except he uses the itty bitty ones for everything

A true statement indeed. Perhaps some mid-sized self tappers would go well with the mid-size taco

 

That would work, it’s how I attached the 80/20 sticks to my soft topper rack.


Btw anyone got an 80/20 stick they would be willing to part with?

 

They definitely work good, its just the thought of having holes drilled into things that makes me cringe

Well they come with holes in them already that gives you something to work with. I used a piece of paper and placed it on the end of the 80/20 stick and used a pencil to creat an outline of the edge. Used that outline then transferred it to the metal where I prepped the holes. Then used the self tappers to secure it.
