Installed ADM today. The installation was a complete pain in the ass. This reverse bleeder thats been in my toolbox for a couple of years made bleeding the clutch a breeze. Thanks @BEAR_KNIFE_FIGHT for your help today!

Original battery died today @ 3years, 8months. I've always expected 5 solid years from a battery. Did not meet expectations

I replaced mine last year before winter. Picked up one of the x2power batteries when they were on sale before my stock one crapped out.

Yeah, that seems a little premature. I could see it if the car sat without being driven a lot.

The original battery in my '03 4runner lasted about 10 years and 150K miles if I recall. It was a Panasonic.

Our 2012 TC is at about 130K on the original battery.

I rarely drive the truck, probably didn't help the battery longevity.
The yaris came with a Panasonic battery that lasted a long time.
I've read lots of complaints about 3rd gen batteries, they don't last like they used to

Ahh, the Taco battery. I guess you need to find an excuse to drive it more often.. For the sake of your battery:rolleyes:

What kind of battery are you thinking about getting?

Funny. The last time I replaced a battery in a Toyota was the old 4runner. I wound up going to the dealer once I learned that it would be the same price as any decent name brand battery.

You get that and I’ll get the cyber truck and we can do a YouTube channel with a bunch of stupid truck challenges! We’ll find some others to get the other electric trucks coming out and have a battle royale

150 mile trip today, finally got to let OV Tune 1.05 87 FOB tune breathe. Engine has seemed to idle much smoother since tune. I topped off the tank with 12 gallons of 91 no ethanol before my drive today, this engine/tune really humms on 91. MPGs not great @ 75mph, but up 2+ from stock tune and 87 octane. And I was able to run in 6th gear pretty much the whole trip. I'm liking OVTune

Side note: stock low beams suck balls, ordered H9s

    Are the stock bulbs H11?

I just replaced mine with Osram Nightbreakers and it's a definite improvement.

Yes, I may try those if I don't like the H9s. They were only like $15

I also replaced the high beams (HB3) with the Nightbreaker Unlimited and as best I could measure (with a phone app) they're 15-20% brighter than OEM.

IDK why Toyota insists on having the weakest headlights possible.

I actually think the 4Runner low beams are descent, maybe I'm used to the shitty light from the taco and yaris
