Here's the first "review" I did of R.B Winter SP that was originally posted in the PA thread

R.B. Winter State Park and Bald Eagle State Forest

This past weekend I camped at R.B. Winter State park and then drove the state forest roads in the area to check out the dispersed camping spots in the state forest. [IMG]

When I first arrived to the site I had a guy ride up on his bike and say "Hey don't leave anything out on there". What? "Don't leave anything out at night. This morning the last guy heard something and came out of his camper and there was a bear sitting on that table there eating a stick of butter." That's a good way to start a weekend! Yes there are black bears in the area. The dumpsters are bear resistant and the park is putting in small bear resistant trash "safes" around the camp area. Besides the juvenile that was seen sitting in my site that morning there has been a sow and cub seen at the far end of the campground multiple times from the reports of park staff. The sites here seem to be closer together than other state parks I've been to. I wasn't happy about that, BUT overall it was a very quite campground compared to others so I can't really complain.

That's a nearly 1lb delmonico on the griddle. That turned out perfect. And that I finished :hungry:

Bald Eagle State Forest Dispersed Site "Reviews"
My main reason for staying at R.B. Winter though was to check out the dispersed drive in campsites in the surrounding state forest land. I visited 11 of the state forest campsites and had a great time driving the forest roads at totally appropriate speeds :mudding:. It's hard to find information on the state forest sites so I'm sharing what I saw here.
Site#7 - Sits high on the mountain just off an overlook. Mostly in the sun with shade along the perimeter depending on time of day. DCNR site says tent only but there was room to get a Tacoma and same size trailer into the site off the road.

Site#16 - Walk-in site only. Parking is along the road, trail leads to site about 100-200 feet off road.
Site#10- Nice site in the trees back off of the forest road. However, one of the drivable trails is RIGHT up against the site. [IMG]

Site#3 - sits low near the creek, there is a sign at the entrance to the site that the creek is fly fishing catch and release only. Seems to be a full sun site. [IMG]

Site#9 - Nice site, right off of an intersection of forest roads. Creek nearby for fishing water etc. Sun and shade. [IMG]

Site#15 - Only notes I took was not trailer compatible. From memory it was up on the hill off of the road. Large parking area though and decent size for multiple tents.
Site#6 - notes say "Meh. nothing special" could fit small trailer maybe but better tent site.
Site#4 - not trailer compatible. Don't remember anything else about it.
Site#5 - Could be a nice site. There was an RV occupying the site so didn't want to walk about. Nice creek nearby for fishing, water, etc.
Site#8 - small and right on the road
Site#12 - The site to go if you have horses. Two large sturdy metal hitches installed. And the flies to go with the horses. I knew it was a horse site before even seeing the hitches. Large, and open.

Edit: Firewood is available just past the park hosts site after entering the camping area. Wood is protected from rain and If I remember correctly it was $8 for a “cube”. Wood seemed to be restocked each day. There is also a small tub with dry kindling bundles in it. Don’t waste your money on those. It is just a few pieces of newspaper wrapped around a bunch of bark and a few small twigs.

One thing that I left out of each post and should include is the firewood situation at the parks. It is pretty well established now that moving fire wood can be really bad for forest health due to introducing pests that hitch a ride. But wood isn’t always available at each park or nearby (looking at you Pine Grove SP). I’ll edit the above posts with the firewood situation and remember to include it it future posts.

Also bears. This was posted at Poe Valley SP. It’s a large contiguous area of protected forests. There will be bears.

Great information in this thread, thanks much for sharing. I love the state parks in the south central and north central parts of the state. I will be up in the Susquehannock State Forest later this month! :mudding:

Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Michaux State Forest

I only have one picture from this trip. Maybe it's because it was cold, maybe it's because I was with a couple of friends, or maybe it's because I was lazy.

PGF SP is only an hour away from my place and about 35 minutes from my best friends place. So it is a great park to meet up at and get out in the woods for a weekend. I again used it as a base camp to check out the forest roads and dispersed camp sites. PGF SP has two bathroom facilities both recently redone and modern, one which was closed at this time of year, the other which also has the showers was open and heated. There is fire wood available to purchase in a new shed that is located just to the left of the exit from the campground loop itself (not sure why they decided to place campground host and wood there instead of at the entrance except that this area of the loop was recently repaved/upgraded) it wasn't the best value, at $5 for 6 pcs. of wood, that I've seen for wood but it is there if needed.

I reserved site 69, just because. No really, it was was because it looked like a great site. And it was. It is right at the corner of the loop which made backing the trailer in beside my buddies 4runner and trailer easy-peasy. It was both deep and wide, and bc it was on the corner there was only one other close site and had woods access on 2.5 sides. The site was plenty big for my utility trailer conversion I've started and for my buddies new Turtle, plus three vehicles. Park staff drove by multiple times and didn't say anything about the extra vehicle BUT that doesn't mean in busier times of the season they wouldn't.
    IMG_2822.jpg

I walked the campground loops and noted a few other sites that looked good to me as well. Criteria being on the outside of the loop or not backing to another site, deep, wide. I know when staying in state parks I will have to deal with other people, that's the price you pay for convince, but I still want to be as far away from them and not see them if possible. Sites 2 and 40 allow pets, 55 and 74 do not allow pets but were other sites noted as meeting those general criteria.

As with my other trips this year I drove around on some of the surrounding forest roads for a few hours. Michaux State Forest is different than the other areas I visited in that nearly all of the 4x4 shared use trails are gated, and locked closed. I don't know the real reason for this but I have seen statements that Michaux is the most heavily used State Forest for recreational activities such as biking, hiking, and horseback riding. If there are times that the gates are opened I have not seen them in the many years I have been driving, hiking, or riding mountain bikes in the area. There are quite a few forest roads but again, they are more maintained that many of the forest roads in parts of Bald Eagle SF, many being paved even. If you are looking to go wheeling Michaux really isn't the place for it. It can be done, but you will really have to plan it.

I did visit a bunch of the dispersed sites as well. Nearly all of the dispersed sites in Michaux that I visited had a small parking area just off the road, and then were blocked to vehicles by large rocks and were walk-in only sites. Since I have the RTT on the trailer these sites weren't really what I was looking for. Here are my notes.

    Dispersed sites:
16: Gated with a lock (rangers unlock for access is my guess) Large open area, small trailer accessible, woods around, no picnic table.
15: couldn't find it. drove past area it should be 3 times and missed it
3: Gated with lock. Back off road, Pine trees, sloped ground, great ground tent site, possible small trailer, really soft ground due to pines
17,18: Walk in only directly across from each other. Didn't look at them further
23: Walk in. Back off the road
    20: "". Good Hiking area
19: ". High on the mountain, open.
4,6,7: all on Woodrow RD which is heavily used recreation road. All walk in 4 is the highest on the mountain, all decent to good walk in sites.

In addition to PGF SP there is also Caledonia State Park inside of Michaux State Forest. In the summer time Caledonia has both a pool and swimming beach at one of the lakes. While camping in the State Forest itself takes a back seat there are MANY hiking, biking, horseback, and ATV trails in the area along with relatively large parking areas to accommodate all of those user groups.

Chambersburg and Gettysburg are both only about a half hour drive from PGF SP and less from Caledonia. Both have nice restaurants, with Gettysburg having the upper hand there, and breweries, with Chambersburg having the hand there Gearhouse being a really good one. My favorite area brewery though is Thirsty Farmer Brew Works which is only 25 minutes from PGF SP and 15 from Caledonia. The cider donuts there are a MUST BUY.

This is the last trip for the year. Probably won't start up again next year until May most likely. I have a couple of weekends boxed out already and will be hitting up a couple of the dispersed sites I scoped out as well as a few new state parks further west and or north.

I do the UnPAved gravel bike race in Poe/Bald every year. Its a beautiful area. Always too cold in Oct for me to camp, but it looks great for a summer getaway.

Moving full Poe Valley SP post to here to make room in first post in thread for an index with links. Should have done that from the start. But I didn't, :sorry:.

Poe Valley State Park and the nearby Bald Eagle State Forest sites

I just did a weekend trip to Poe Valley SP with my wife and son and one of our dogs. This was another new SP for me, and was chosen to explore the State Forest roads and dispersed campsites in this area.

NOTE there are NO fully paved routes into Poe Valley SP. You will have to drive on forest roads of varying quality, some of which are quite narrow and steep depending on route chosen into the park.

This was probably one of my least favorite SP that I have visited so far. I can't quite put my finger on why that is though. It has all of the normal amenities of a SP, new bath house, fresh potable water, electric sites. Most of the sites are small, and even though the parks website may say a site is 40ft deep good luck fitting a 30ft trailer and vehicle and then having room to move around. This park is for smaller trailers like my frankentrailer and tent campers mainly. There is a small lake with a beach for swimming and kayaking in the warmer months. I chose site 7 bc it was a pull through and they generally give more room. Due to off and on rain and being out and about I didn't get to take a picture of our setup or the site until right before pulling out. This site, along with site 16 which is also a pull through are probably the ones I would pick if returning. There is a small sewage treatment area at the far end of the loop of the campground and the smell was noticeable a couple of times. The upper part of the loop is mostly shaded and the lower part around the far end of the loop is more open, so there are choices there. [IMG]

The main reason for choosing Poe Valley was to use it as a jump off point of exploring the surrounding State Forest. Over the coming years I want to do more dispersed camping away from the crowds of State Parks and I am looking for the best sites. This area of Bald Eagle has mile upon mile of dirt and stone SF roads as well as a number of high clearance driveable trails that are un-gated. [IMG][IMG]
Because of the weather and having my wife along (she wasn't as into the driving around in the rain as my son and I) I didn't get to take many pictures of the dispersed sites that we visited but I did get a couple.
Site 46 sits back off of the road by a fair bit and is near a small creek that should be good for fishing. It is large enough that small RTT trailers can fit with room to turn around etc. While the site isn't completely flat there are areas that a trailer could be leveled easily or that are flat enough for a ground tent. [IMG]

Site 47 sits at the top of a ridgeline near a what is probably a nice overlook, the fog was so heavy though we could only see the trees right in front of us. The site is large, again room for RTT trailers and even larger possibly. It has a wooded area as well as open sun. There is one official fire ring in the open area and another rock ring built by other campers in the wooded area. [IMG]

    Notes on other dispersed sites:
64 - Small, open, back off the road
65 - Nothing special. Decent tent site, small drivable turnaround
66 - Small, in a clearing and not flat at all
63 - Small and right on the road
62 - Small, not flat, right on road
61 - Small, not trailerable at all, on road, there is a small lean-to though which is kinda cool
29 - Tiny, right off of road
28 - Tiny, back off the road though
23 - Off the road, decent size, BUT it is right on a mapped and posted hiking loop
22 - only note is OK site
44 - only note is tent only site

There are many more sites in the area that I didn't get to visit bc of time constraints, and I will definitely check them out next year when I return to stay at one of the sites I visited this year.

For an outdoor enthusiast there is plenty to do in this area. Trails galore for hiking, biking, horseback riding. SF roads and trails to drive on. Stocked and native trout streams to fish. Lakes and large creeks to kayak/canoe. Scenic overlooks around nearly every corner at the top of the mountains. In Millheim there is a nice brewery/restaurant with really good beer Elk Creek Cafe + Aleworks, and a cool little coffee shop IngleBean, along with some other restaurants opening up. There is also a decent sized locally owned grocery store just outside of town. I can fully recommend camping in this area of Bald Eagle SF whether it is at one of the State Parks or one of the dispersed sites in the forest.

Next trip is to Caledonia SP in November and checking out the dispersed sites in the southern end of Michaux SF.

Edit: Firewood is not available at the park. There was only one location nearby were you can buy wood. It can be found on the paved section Siglerville-Millheim Pike just before it joins Poe Valley Rd to the west of the park. There is a wood sign painted white with firewood for sale painted on it. Drive back the driveway a bit and the wood is on the right protected from rain. Wood is all scraps from Milling logs, debarked, and very dry. $10 for each bunch. Plenty for two+ fires.

It is a beautiful area. We will definitely be visiting and camping again next year. My wife has 3-4 training seminars in State College every year and we are already planning of at least one trip where she can meet me in the woods after.
October camping isn't too bad. November camping, that's pushing it right now. I've started to buy one thing to make my cold weather camp experience better each year. Last year it was smartwool lower base layer. This year will be at least smartwool upper base layer, and probably boots in addition. I might do the Tepui insulater since it should fit my tent also. I did lots of winter camping when I was younger and in boy scouts, but I am definitely getting soft in my older age.

R.B. Winter State Park and Bald Eagle State Forest take 2

Way back in May my son and I made the trip back out to R. B. Winter on the first weekend that state parks were opening back up. I really like this State Park. I can’t overstate that. It is clean, it is relatively quiet, and the sites are pretty well spaced for the most part. By the time I decided to book the site there were only a few available, and not any of my preferred. We got site 46. This isn’t a bad site really, but it is for tent campers or small trailers. The back in driveway is at an angle and a pretty steep slope. I had to put the truck in 4wd to get my little trailer up it onto the flat section. The flat area is only about 15 feet deep. There is a large flat tent/table/fire ring area though. The site right next door is very close and the two would be good for groups. We didn’t have an issue with noise though.

    IMG_8889.jpg

We scouted dispersed sites in Bald Eagle State Forest again. We tried to hit as many as we could that we missed the last trip.

Bald Eagle State Forest Dispersed Site “Reviews” Part 2

    Site #70
    IMG_6925.jpg
Not a bad site, not a great site. On the side of the road, but it is a decent size square site. Probable best for one or two night car camping. Can fit a small trailer.

    Site #69
    IMG_8333.jpg IMG_8719.jpg
Large open site off of the road. Large loop around a small copse of trees. Multiple vehicles and trailers can fit. BUT….there is what looks like an unsanctioned atv trail spur right into the site.

    Site#34
    IMG_4895.jpg
Another open site with a loop around small set of trees. This site seems more open and exposed to elements overall than #69 is. Still would be a great site for 2-4 vehicle’s with roof top tents or a couple of small trailers.

    Sites #26, #25
    IMG_0505.jpg IMG_4819.jpg
Right on top of each other. They are back off the road, and in a nice wooded area though. Good for 2 different people in a group to reserve and then have a group site. Best for tents. Site are near the top of Old Mingle Rd. Calling this a road is a stretch. This isn’t even one of the graded crushed stone state forest roads. This is a legit dirt road with baby head rocks littered all around. You’re not going to be flying up or down this road unless you have really good suspension. Its not at the level of some of the drivable trails in the forest but don’t take a Civic up it.

    Site #24
    IMG_1664.jpg
This is a nice site. Not as far up Old Mingle Rd. as 25/26 are. It is a good size, almost flat.

    Site #21
    IMG_4031.jpg IMG_7935.jpg
This is a decent site. What makes it decent and not great is that it’s near a busy intersection. At least during the day when we stopped here to eat it was busy. It is screened from the road by trees, but you can hear the traffic. Large relatively flat site. Only one or two spots for tents, but it is open with light. And even with the occasional vehicle noise it was relaxing to stop and have lunch at the table here.

Other sites that I didn’t take pictures of for some reason

The 3 sites following are all on or off of Old Mingle Rd. referenced sites 26/25 notes above.
    32- Tiny. Tent only.
    33. At dead end of rd. Large site, but could get wet in heavy rain.
    27. WAY out. This is a tent only site. But it would be a great site for somebody who just wants to get away from the world. Wish I had a pic.

    31. In a new location from what is shown on Purple Lizard map. Nothing special though.
    30. Was occupied by a large travel trailer so I couldn’t get a good look. Lg. site that is pretty high up on the mountain. Looked nice.

Only 11 more dispersed sites to go in Bald Eagle SF. Doubt I’ll get those this year with the way things are going.

Next trip is to Little Pine State Park next week. Maybe I’ll get that write up done quicker than this one.

Cool thread idea. Usually I am not a fan of sharing camp spots online just because I know how some good spots can get trashed but Bald Eagle is pretty out there, and most people are too lazy to go out that far. I've stayed in a couple spots in Bald Eagle, and explored some of the trails in the snow. I enjoy the look outs the most.

This is an Awesome idea. I was just at Bald Eagle State Forrest 2 weeks ago. We stayed in site 61. Entrance is blocked with big ass rocks for whatever reason they dont want you driving in. As this was the first time staying up there and needing to blow up an air mattress using my taco I had no choice but to find a spot along the road and take my taco up the bank and navigate a path into the site. No issues at all doing it but still just ticked off I wasn't prepared to not be able to take my truck all the way into the site.

The site did have a lean to there which was sort of nice and gross at the same time. It has been heavily used and there were blankets, sheets, empty food cans etc still in it. But not a big deal as the rest of the camp site was huge.

Loved this place so much I am heading back up soon . Will try and get pics of some of the other sites in the area and post them here. Those vistas are awesome! I was only up for a day last time just to check it out but will be up for a few days next time for sure.

Little Pine State Park, Tiadaghton State Forest and Tioga State Forest

My most recent trip was last week to Little Pine State Park. I needed some time away, and I had to be in the Finger Lakes one day last week. It was a last minute decision to camp, I only made my reservation 6 days ahead of my stay. So my choices on sites for the three nights I wanted was pretty slim. Little Pine was about equal distance between home and where I needed to be, and it had a few sites available so it got the choice.

It WAS NOT a good choice. I am normally an advocate for PA state parks. We are lucky to have so many parks spread out over this whole state, that are free to access on a daily basis, and that provide cheap camping. So it is not easy for me to say that I CANNOT recommend this State Park.

    First, the FLIES
    IMG_4178.jpg
They were on me and the truck before I could even unhook the trailer. Sooooooooo many of them. So I light a fire, maybe a little smoke will get rid of them. Nope. Maybe more smoke will work. Nope. Maybe enough smoke to preserve myself like jerky will get rid of them. Nope. And then they start to bite! So maybe some 70% Deet Cutter Essentials bug spray that's in the back of the truck will work. Nope. All that does is make me smell like a clean diaper (why make the spray smell like a clean diaper Cutter?). The flies were the worst on the first night, but they were there the whole time. And it wasn't just my site, it was pretty much the whole campground.

Second. There was no fire wood. A ranger informed me that the people contracted to supply wood "just haven't done it this year". The closest easiest place to get wood is at the private campground store that is located right at the entrance to the state park. And that wood isn't cheap. There isn't much wood laying around that can be harvested either.

Third. Speaking of the private campground. Pretty much just WOW. I'm not going to say much more than that. Except somebody from there liked to drive into the state park campground each night and the drive laps around the campground, with their music on and rear gate open with the kids sitting in the back sweeping the whole campground with a bright white led flashlight that could have sent signals to the space station. It was obnoxious.

Fourth. Over half the sites at the campground are in an open field. Even my site which from the pictures online looked like had trees on 3 sides was actually open except for the back. There are some wooded sites, but I would only really say that there are 10 decent sites in the whole park that could be recommended, if it wasn't for the other issues.
    IMG_4181.jpg

Also, the bathrooms are not the more recent updated bathrooms that many state parks have now. These were done in 2002. They aren't awful, but not nice like others that have been updated.

    Surrounding State Forests, Tiadaghton, Tioga,

I again drove around the forests roads looking for dispersed sites. Tiadaghton only has a few, and they aren't numbered. To get the permit you pick by the road that they are on. Honestly I didn't think that any of them were worth it for me drive to in the future. I can see somebody who is only 30-60 minutes away and wants to get out to fish or bike maybe staying at one. The nicest ones were at 7-Mile on the banks of Slate Run. Theres about 6-8 sites here each with a table and ring, but they are close together, you will see and hear your neighbors if anybody else is there. There are a few on Chestnut Ridge Rd, but two are just cutouts up off the road and one is at a dead end. It does have a large grassy area, but it seems like could be swampy at times. There's two sites at Little Morris on Morris Run Rd. These would be the best for getting away from everything.

    IMG_4200.jpg

The forest roads in Tiadaghton aren't all that nice to drive. Most are relatively short and just boring. The high clearance roads are nearly all gated closed. It is evident that this forest is mainly managed for resource extraction, not public use besides the ATV trails and long distance hiking trails that cross through the forest.

In Tioga I didn't see any developed dispersed sites, but there were lots of areas that were off the side of the forest roads were one could set up for the night. The roads in Tioga were a lot more fun to drive. Especially since the area closer to Wellsboro got slammed with storms the day before and made for some muddy driving.
    IMG_4207.jpg

Tioga also has some great vistas as you follow West Rim Road towards Colton Point SP and the PA Grand Canyon. Not a bad place to eat lunch.IMG_4205.jpg

I drove through both Colton Point SP and Leonard Harrison SP as well, both just south of Wellsboro. Colton is the place to go if you like old school rustic camping. Theres vault toilets, no electric, sites are smallish and all wooded. There won't be any RV's here. Across Pine Creek is Leonard Harrison SP. This campground has a new bathhouse and more updated facilities including a developed vista. There are a few electric sites here, which actually much nicer than the non electric sites which are open and close to each other.

Back at camp after a long day I had my traditional steak dinner, a 1# Delmonico, this time with a baked sweet potato and roasted beets.IMG_4213.jpg

For me the best part of the area is the driving. The paved roads are a blast, even at legal speeds darting from one corner to the next. Little Pine Creek Rd. to the north of Little Pine SP was my favorite. Even more main roads such as 287 into Morris and 414 along Pine Creek are fun. And the forest roads in Tioga SF closer to Wellsboro are great as well. Theres a reason that a rally race is held in this area every year. I'd love to go back with a more appropriate vehicle for that type of driving sometime. What made this trip for me was the driving which is good bc I did a lot of it. Overall though, it isn't an area of PA that I will seek out to visit again unless I get back into hiking.

I was up this past weekend to Bald Eagle State Forest. My notes are very comparable to yours. I think we covered the middle and lower section. I meant to take pictures but it was raining when we drove past some of the sites so I didn't get a chance to take any but I did write down notes on what we saw.

I am planning to go up after labor day weekend to camp in the middle section and scout out the northern part.

My notes. I will list "yes" or "no" from a like stand point

    Southern Portion

70 - Right off road. Walk in site. ( No )
69 - Very large site secluded ( Yes ) -- Stayed there last weekend
66 - Large site semi secluded not flat but was ok ( Yes ) -- Stayed there 3 weeks ago
    65 - Large site semi secluded ( Yes )
64 - No notes on this site for some reason ( ? )
63 - Right at an intersection. Very close to road ( No )
62 - Large site lots of vegetation flat ( Yes )
61 - Walk in site very large. Has the Lean-To ( Yes ) if you are tent camping.
47 - Large beautiful site very secluded. Stones throw from a vista. Multiple fire-pits ( Yes )
46 - Medium size site was ok but can see campsite from road easily wouldn't be a first choice but not the worst either ( Yes )

    Middle Portion

48 - About 15 miles outside of state college. Very large site and very well secluded. ( Yes )
45 - Could not see people were there but looked large and looked ok ( Yes )
44 - Definite no. Right at intersection. Camp site very exposed ( No )
41 - Walk in site. Ok for tent camping ( No )
42 - Could not find this site. They were doing some logging right around where the site should be ( ? )
34 - Very large site below a vista. Cell reception might be possible ( Yes )
30 - Right near trail and close to the road ( No )
    21 - Too close to road ( No )
29 - Too close to road . No privacy at all ( No )
    28 - Right at intersection ( No )
23 - No notes but listed as ok not first choice ( Yes )
22 - Same as above they were ok sites but not first choices ( Yes )
24 - Ok site not too flat ( Yes )
25 - Lots of ground cover with fern growth. ( Snakes and other critters can easily hide ). Still a very large site in open area. ( Yes )
26 - Too close to the road and tied to site 27 ( No )
27 - Too close to the road and tied to site 26 ( No )
32 - Small site but secluded people were there so couldn't really see ( ? )
33 - Very large site. Secluded at end of the road. ( Yes )

In a few weeks I am going to stay up there for another weekend in the middle section some place and scout the northern part for a day trip.

Will report back and hopefully get some pics to post.

Definitely love this idea because it is hard to know where to camp. Bald Eagle is one of the few that actually show you the campsites on the map. If anyone else has pics or maps that show where camp sites are in other state forests please let me know. I have only looked on the DCNR website and Bald Eagle is one of the only ones that has a camping map.

Quick Labor Day write up. Will post more pics and descriptions later on tonight or tomorrow of some of the sites we explored in the northern section.

We were back up at Bald Eagle State Forest for the weekend and stayed in Site 32 which is in the middle section. Also included the map of the section I am referring to when I post the pics. This should be helpful to follow along with my notes of each site.

Very nice site but only good for a pop-up or a tent. Very well secluded. Heard Coyotes at night. Saw a bear the first day on the way to our campsite right off the road. Plenty of deer.

Back from real life. Sorry I was busy yesterday with getting caught up at work. Here are the pics I got from up at Bald Eagle State Forest. Mainly the northern section. Because it was Labor Day Weekend most of the sites were occupied. However I did manage to get quite a few on Sunday when lots of people left.

    Middle Section

    Site 25 and 26

    20200907_113228.jpg

These sites are tied together. 25 is at the back on the left side and 26 is about 1/2 way up the entrance on the right. Nice if you are in a group camping to be able to stay together. If you are solo with you or your family you will definitely be impacted by someone else staying in the other site depending on which one you ended up with.
