I read someplace that the tonneau cover is a solar panel, and will recharge the batteries up to ... are you sitting down? ... up to 15 miles worth of juice per day.

 

some kind of harsh failure is inevitable at some point. and that should be super interesting.

 

I'm seeing a huge flat bed cover capable of mounting at least 600 watt solar panels. Has 15A 110V and 30A 220V and built in air compressor. Having driven 2 different Teslas I keep an open mind. I'm not a hipster either. Form following function.
