Looking to add vent shades to my white 2019 TRD Sport. I'm leaning towards the weather tech dark tint but also see some good reviews on AVS. AVS is a little less money but I like the idea that weather techs require no tape at all and I don't mind spending a little more for a better product. I definitely want the in channel type as on previous vehicles I've owned the stick ons have always started to come undone after a few years and I plan on keeping this truck for a while. Anyone have any good or bad luck with either weather tech or AVS?
Also saw someone on here who had some with a matte black finish and thought that may look good with the white and black colors on the truck now. Anyone know what type or where I can find those?
    Thanks!

Most of the guys here run AVS, myself included. Over two years with them on and not one single issue, great product.

AVS all the way. I have a set on my 2nd gen that I put on in 2007. They are still on my truck today. I put some in channels on my 3rd gen and I expect them to last just as long.

Yeah here’s the AVS in channel low profile in matte black...available on Amazon around $56 bucks.

I run these, they are from WELLvisors. I like them cause they kinda remind me of the Japanese overlanding style on the older vehicles. I also had them on my CRV and their super durable. These are not slim and stick out, guess it's up to the style preference you want.

This is imo the best style because the matte matches other trim pieces and the fact it’s low profile- there is no bulging out!

prep is key with anything- make sure it’s cleaned and I left my window up to keep pressure for over 48hrs

I went with AVS because I didn't like the way the weather tech model extended down next to side mirror. Definitely get in channel.

I did notice AVS to scratch easily, just be careful when drying vehicle after washes.

I have the AVS in channel, no issues, they hold up well, if you get some light scratches or hazing some plastic polish makes them look like new.

Thanks for all the input guys. I like the look of those low profile flat black ones from AVS. I think they match nice with the flat black paint between the doors on the white truck. I think that's the way I'm gonna go!

Are the matte black AVS low profile visors transparent? I think they look great but seems like a lot of window to block out if you can’t see through them.

Is the AVS logo on the front visors a sticker or painted on?

Is that for the matte black or transparent plastic? I don’t know if I’d chance rubbing the matte

    This^^^^^.
It's the reason a choose the AVS over the Weather Techs.
No complaints, and saved a few $.
