Hopefully this is the right forum for this. Today I had a pretty large dog jump up on the side of my Tacoma to say Hi. It resulted in some pretty good scratches. What products do I need to fix it?

I got those my 16 and was able to polish 75% of it myself out. The rest I had a detailer take out.

Wow! I love dogs, but I’d have the dog owner pay to have it fixed.

That's weird. Some other dude's truck was attacked by a dog in the exact same place...

F that sucks! I'm an animal lover, but even then...:annoyed: Just curious and as Chief sort of touched on, was the dog owner around for any of this or what's the story there?

As far as the scratches go, need more details provided. How deep are they? I wouldn't think the dog scratched thru the clear / base coat and what we're seeing in the photo is primer, but instead it's just the clear coat dinged up. Please confirm.

I didn't see the owner initially. I was waaay out in the boonies. I pulled down off the dirt road and got out of the truck to assess the damage and i saw the owner. About a quarter mile away jogging. Its basically my word VS. Hers and i didn't feel like being an asshole so i let it go. Im pretty sure its just the clear coat and not into the paint.

Well I :hattip:to you for being the better man about it...can't say I would've just let it go. I just noticed you have another thread on this topic over in the 3rd Gen discussion, and like others have mentioned there, initial thoughts based on one photo and couple word description is :itllbuffout:.
