    Hey TW,

I just bought a 2004 Tacoma Double Cab last month. It is in great condition and the frame is pretty solid. I love the truck so to ensure the longevity and durability of the frame id like to clean it, prep it and paint/seal it.

I've heard of a couple things like sanding and fluid film but I would like to know the methods or approaches you all recommend and/or have had success with. Thank you for the replies/input in advance.

I cut lots of extra drains in the frame

The factory ones are so small they get clogged

Do the sluice mod, Wash it well inside frame and out. Then when dry just shoot the frame inside and out with Fluid Film once or twice a year depending on environment exposure.

I love fluid film smell too ......but I just used wool wax this year and it clings better( thicker) and kind of nice not stinking.
Bag up engine ,ac,alt all the good stuff and go crazy in side frame is just as important more so since it can’t be rinsed off. I use 1 gallon a year$$$$$ , but it’s not rusty.
