this thing has carplay, splitscreen, any app you can think of, surfs net, plays movies, netflix, youtube, awesome equalizer....blows stock sound outta the water, place for simcard, and yes aux input. Get your photos when you backup with google photos, lots more. The kenwoods and alpines cant do half this shit. Best aftermarket out there wish i could post videos. Best thing, maybe even better than ovtuneDC75AC61-724B-4261-9F65-DBFFB3A4A43D.jpg

the only chance you would have would be if they dealer viewed your CB color as exclusive since it was only for 2018 and commanded a higher price. At that point you would probably have better luck doing private sale and using that to fund the new Pro.

Just wanted to update that yes, my stock rear speakers seem weaker than the fronts when I run the fader.

Still haven't had time to play with the new head unit.

The EnTune 3. O app in my 2020 Tacoma Limited with JBL is pretty useless. Cannot connect to the apps. Wasted 4 hours on this!!

What did you do about the settings the stock head unit has for the truck such as the unlock stuff?

Does it work with SirusXM also? and I don't mean the app since that should work anyway.

Works fine. Everyone asking all these technical questions. Although i do vouch for em, i dont know every little setting such as door and light settings. I have mine set the way i want and dont feel the need to twiddle with every little setting. I stand by my comment that it works out the box and you’ll be thoroughly satisfied even if it has a few shortcomings. As for light and door settings, they are present but not in tge way you expect or as it is in entune. Totally new system so dont expect it to be like entune. You will just have to take the leap. Only but from the link i posted or else you will not get the same customer support i experience

I am also looking for a new head unit since the 2020 factory unit sucks.

I bought a new 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 with 6-speed manual transmission last week and noticed immediately that the sound system is absolutely terrible. (I had just traded in a 2018 Ford F-150 which has a very good factory sound system and so the difference was incredibly noticeable -- it blows my mind that Toyota was actually bragging about how great that crap system was going to be back in July) You have to fade it completely to the back of the truck to even hear the back speakers. Otherwise all the sound comes from the two tiny speakers on the dash. It has the sound of a ham radio on the far side of a basketball court. Brutal.

So I ripped out all of the factory speakers and put in good ones, then ripped the plastic side wall from behind the back seat and put in a good amplifier and subwoofer. Now I get *loud* enough sound, but the sound *quality* is still terrible.

I guess need a new and better head unit? (or am I not using the factory one right? I dunno. Weren't some people saying they want one of these? If so there must be something I am missing because it seems like crap to me) In any case, I am thinking about getting the one mentioned above:
    https://cartrimhome.com/head-unit-for-Tacoma-2016?search=T9
but I haven't heard anyone discuss whether it works or not on the 2020. Is this the one people are recommending? Does it have more frequency bands? I was googling options when I stumbled on this forum. Very cool to see so many Tacoma owners sharing advice on here! A nice bonus that comes with the truck I guess.

No guarantees on the 20s as i heard you have different plugs than the 16-19 entune. It would work, but youd need the proper harnesd

    6 speakers
I also have a 2020 pro with the pioneer HU. I have changed 6 speakers so far and I am considering installing an amp. This OEM system is the worst I have heard in years. It is somewhat bearable so far with the replacement speakers.

Even with an amp and subwoofer its still not good. The volume is great but the quality is still bad. There are nice Kenwood head units out there that I'm hoping to try but they are smaller. I am debating waiting for Kenwood to make a larger one to fit the 2020 it buy the smaller one now. Here is my amp and sub custom install behind back seat:20200210_153945.jpg

Looking at specs of headunits, they all output about 4x20w. The stock unit maybe half that. It does no justice to the 100w speakers you just upgraded to. Amp for door speakers would really solve the problem

The custom amp behind the seat is for all my speakers. Like I said I now have more volume than I would ever need.

The problem remains the quality of the sound. I.e. there are only three frequency bands. It sounds like an AM radio covered by a wet blanket.

No crisp frequencies only muffled mid tones.
