Always good to have a nice toolbox. I thought I was going to minimize my spending on friday and only buy my dogs new beds and toys. After spending something in the range of 150-200(at 50%off all of it) on them, later that day I decided it was time to order my new front shocks to match the rear I need to get installed. While expensive I'm pretty happy with the deal I got on the fronts. Cant wait to get it all installed!

So I pulled the trigger on some TRD Pro wheels last night to swap out with my OR wheels. This should be a straight swap for tires correct? Or did I just pull a big dumb? Both are 16".

Does anyone have any recommendations on black lugnuts? I assume the black chromed ones will match the best.

I have black gorilla spline lugs. They work well, however try to find some that have the extended threads... I had discount tire tell me they wouldnt work on my wheels because the lugs didnt get 7+ complete turns on the threads, it only got like 4-5...

    such as below...

others end at the acorn like below...

I had seen recommendations for these: will these not work? I planned on getting Discounttire to do the install but dont want to have any problems with them. I prefer the snug look over lugs that will protrude out of the housing

I mean the only thing that i can see is that flat disc around the base, but i dont think that is going to prevent the lugs from doing their job.

One issue i did find with one set of after market wheels was that i had to buy a socket and breaker bar as the 4 way wouldnt fit.

I have the gorilla splines as well as a few extra from wheelers. Both worked perfect for myself and @Beef Nachos. You can choose between ext and standard, just make sure they are the ext’s.

OEM TRD Pro wheels require the stock style lugs, the spline type you linked won't work.
    Those will work

If you want to spend money, anything ingersoll-rand. My Ti impact gun has been a beast for over 10 years. And honestly, it's cheap stuff but ive had really good luck with campbell-hausfeld stuff.
