Benchmade Griptillian / Surefire G2X in my console.

In the camping box is an Esee 6, and that thing is scary sharp.

Big fan of the Streamlight Stylus Pro for pocket carry.

Flashlights and knives, two of my favorite subjects. Being an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman I use them all the time. I have dozens of each but here’s what I keep in my truck. I keep two Quantum Tactical 588 lumem flashlights in my truck. They are sold by Harbor Freight and on sale every other week for $9. They are bright and rugged. They take 4 aaa batteries and have high mode, lower light mode and strobe. I also carry extra batteries. Can’t beat the price and I’ve never had a problem with them.
I have some expensive knives but what I carry in the truck is a Buck Bowie style hunting knife. They range from around $50 to over $100. Tough rugged knife will do it all. Comes with a leather sheath.B4C6CE2F-4C28-4E53-9CF7-8A48AA813E63.jpgEB337A02-19F8-460B-A45E-8902B1982718.jpg

Same here on the MH25. Plus I also keep a Nitecore HC30 in there as well, and half a dozen 18650 batteries.

For a knife, I have a Kershaw Scallion that lives on my person unless I'm sleeping or in the shower, and I keep a backup in the center console.

Why do you need a spring assist knife? When you REALLY need a knife, how often do you have two free hands to open it? One hand operation is key.

Leatherman Wave but there are even more options now, I just know mine has never let me down.
You get 2 blades (normal and serrated) and plenty of handy tools.
On the flashlights...wow, Harbor Frieght free magnetic things are handy for sticking on the side of the truck when working on it or in camp and then I have AAA and AA lights all over the truck.
My Zebralight headlamp also gets used as a flashlight a ton and lives in the truck.

I wouldn’t put too much thought into it if it’s a spare for your truck. Any LED flashlight with a lot of good reviews will do. For knives I like the CKRT and Kershaw. Many options that won’t break the bank if you happen to lose or damage it.

One of my favorite EDC knife right now is the CKRT Largo. Works great as a utility knife, small, and it has a bottle opener (not that I’m a everyday drinker). Another good option is the Kershaw Leek. For flashlight I just use my phone. I don’t find myself needing to carry a separate flashlight with me everywhere I go.

However my workhorse light is a Streamlight Strion HL. Very bright with great flood and focus beam, durable, and lite. 5 years and still holding.
